Depending on what type of it is a self feeding there is a door on the side that should open up and a place where you put your spool of wire then you just feed the wire through the allotted spit and slowly squeeze the trigger to have it feed through you lead.

My mig welder is not getting gas from the welder to the nozzle.

Check you gun plug, this one has to go all the way inside the wire feed rolls, make sure the wire guide has the right direction (yes, you can put it backwards). Gaskets must be line up to the gas inlet. If everything looks good, then check that the solenoid valve clicks open everytime you press your trigger. Other problem can be an empty gas cylinder.

Wire feed stopped after tack welding on set-up jig

i had the same problem. its probably a bad solder on the wire feed pot. not hard to fix ,but you need a solering iron .BE CAREFULL 1 unplug welder.
2 remove pot and the nut underneath.
3 remove case from welder and remove controll box.
4 run the soldering iron over the joins , then put it all back together, should work fine.

My welder just stopped welding. It's a Telwin 220 Mig. The fan is still running but there is no noise from the welder and the wire is not feeding. I had only used it for around 30 seconds before it...

your feeder may need adjusting or more commonly the tip has tacked itself on the edn cap
keep the line as straight as you can & keep feeder compartment clean!
keep plyers handy for when wire is stuck in the tip
if you need to replace wire spool or a brakage of the wire make sure the wire is free or BURRS b4 you put it in the tube or you will damage the tube!

this is a very cheap welder ,so dont hope for a lot out of this welder.any who this is called a feeder hose.and you'll have to practice running the wire th ru this feeder hose to straighten the wire out till the wire goes th ru the hose do not have the wire going th ru the machine that the clamp is tightened tighten after the wire is through.and then the wire should only be tight enough to push the wire through ,thats something you ll have to play with to get it right.hope this helps .jojogunne
