SOURCE: push start button on control panel - machine does not start
only 2 things can cause this.
1 the control is set to lock out mode. just hold the lock button for 5 seconds and it should go back to normal mode.
or 2 the controls user interface has an internal failure. its the part that has the switches and tells the computer what to do. either way call whirlpool and see if its still covered by their warranty.
of yeah and the 3rd thing is you have no power to unit. make sure the outlet is good by trying something else in the same outlet, like a light or hairdryer.
SOURCE: replaced the whole top panel. now start lights only flash wont start washer
You might have blown a fuse on the circuit board or fried a transistor on the board
