I need to know how to install the software for my usb smart card reader

ur smart card has no problem, problem have with ur system's USB Drivers , reinstall or update ur system's usb driver ur smart card will easily connect

Go to the 'Gemalto' website and download the latest drivers for your system. Installation instructions will be on their website for the drivers.

You have to take apart a good portion of the laptop to reach the Smart Card Reader spot. You need to turn off the computer, unplug the AC power and remove the battery first. Make sure that you are grounded to the computer. Then remove your optical drive and the hinge cover. Next you remove the mini-card antennas either from the mini-card or their secure spot, display assembly, the keyboard and the palm rest. Then you can reach the screw for the smart card reader and the place on the motherboard where the smart card reader connects.

i dont think there is one after XP. gemalto havnt bothered with it. some usb smart card readers were included with some usb keyboards on some pc makers like Dell its possible that the drivers for these might also work for the reflex one you have. but its also likely they will not load. you could try either a dell or hp smart card usb driver. you also have to turn on smart card reading service in the OS. Yes, you can still retrieve deleted pictures by using a software. But first you will need a card reader, Insert the memory card in the card reader and connect the usb of the card reader in your computer's usb port. But before inserting on your computer's usb port download a software for recovering deleted pictures. You can try downloading these software:

You just have to choose on what software you are going to use.

start menu, right click my computer, manage, device manager, check if the base system device or unknown device has a yellow question mark next to it, if so download the correct driver from dell.coms support/downloads section, yuo will need to select your model and operating system.

you don't need one-buy a memory card reader that supports your type of memory card-if card is flat with exposed contacts its a smart media card-if small it's a xd card-get reader and plug cable from reader to computer and will work fine-no software needed

SC-2300 uses smart card. Just buy a USB smart card reader, slot your smartcard into the reader and plug it to the USB port of your computer. If you are using Windows 2000 and above, the picture files can be read immediately.
