If the wires are sodered on to yhe ends of the fuse you can carefully cut them right at the fuse but i would hold my sodering tip on the weld and pull the wire off when the solder melts. Unfortunatly you would have to solder a new fuse back in being realy, really carefull about how long u leave the heat on as it could cook the fuse Sounds like a job for a repairman as you dont want to be frying anything else or altering a good amp and if they screw it up they have to take care of it. please let me know how it goes,im curious.
SOURCE: Can i connect 2 jbl 300 watt speakers to the mg
Yes you can as long as the speaker impedance when paralleled doesn't go below the rating of the amp. Marshall seems to hide their design lowest output impedance. Possibly you can find that in your owner's manual. Then find the impedance of the JBL. If half the JBL impedance is equal to or greater than the lowest impedance the Marshall is rated, you are fine to use it. The speaker Watt rating should always be bigger than the amp rating which it is in this case.

You need to REPAIR the cause of it blowing before you worry about what size it is. Replacing it without repairing MAY damage additional components.
For 220 Volt service it appears to be 250ma for 120 it appears to be 400ma

SOURCE: i have the Marshall MG100HDFX
If the output transistors have shorted, it is LIKELY that several others in the drivers and even farther back have also gone. HOWEVER some Marshall amps use one or more TDA7293 chips. These require installation using heat sink compound. The TDA7293 can be found at:

They come in two sexes depending on which way the leads are bent for installation. You have to see how yours are mounted relative to the circuit board. Cost about $6.

SOURCE: Peavey Pr-15 fuse blown, speaker
Actually its pretty funny thing with those speakers is the "fuse" is Actually called a Lamp in this case. These are what they call a " Red Dot Fuse ". in all the years i've been doing this i've never thought to look up the value haha. Just have to know there are Red Dot lamps and Blue dots and No Dot. If you examine the LAMP you should see somewhere close to the ends ON THE GLASS a color dot of some kind. almost like someone painted it on there. Red Dot Lamp. any parts distributer for people like Harbinger, Peavey, and B52 will KNOW what your talking about
