Can be 2 things. If its over freezing, its likely the thermostat has jammed closed and continually causing the compressor to keep running. This will make the freezer get too cold and over freeze. If its not icing up and not getting cold, I would say its lost its gas charge. The compressor is continually running, trying to get down to temperature.

I doubt you have the specialized equipment needs to do this successfully. I wrote this for vehicle AC, but just change the word 'AC' to 'Fridge'. The procedure is the same. You can't eyeball this stuff. Also, with the new compressor, did you add oil and a new dryer?

My Blomberg reezer-bottom refrigerator is only 1 year old but the freezer door is bowing and won't seal properly. Why? How can it be fixed?

maybe a good kick to the door or is it still under warranty? Give the dealer a call and tell em to come round and fix it..
