SOURCE: Require a manual for an ''efco'' chain sharpener.

There are no "efco" chain sharpeners at Northern Tool or at efcopower.com. There is a Chinese made grinder with the Northern Tool name on it. It is a lessor quality copy of an Oregon model 511A. It is such a good copy that parts and the manuals are interchangable. The 511A manual can be downloaded here: http://www.oregonchain.com/pdf/accessories/511AManual_3Lang.pdf

SOURCE: Need chain oil resevoir for Remington electric

I suspect you did an on line search, we can do no better. Remington has ceased production. Parts availability is limited to what is on hand. It might be advisable to save the money you would expend for parts and put it toward the purchase of a new electric saw.
Poulan has been in business a very long time and offers 8 different models. Some can be found at Lowes. HTH

Sooner or later you will encounter a part that isn't available for your Remington. Yours may be worth more as parts than as a complete assembly. eBay?

SOURCE: my electric chain saw makita 5014 is not cutting

A dull chain can cause this so can installing it backwards. Find a local chainsaw seller/mechanic about 5 - 10$ to sharpen. Ask for their help to relinstall it. Stihl is the best dealer in my area.
fa94627.gif I have many chains when one dulls easy to swap in sharp one, no emergency to sharpen the dull one. HTH

Need to know the degree to set my electric chain saw sharpener for husqvarna chain. This is a 20 inch chain.

A 20" bar unfortunately does not narrow it down. Fortunately both the .325 pitch chain and the 3/8 pitch chain sharpen at 25 degrees and you should have one of these chains. Hope this helps.

I'm a girl. remington electric chain saw not cutting. chain seems loose, was out of lubricating fluid, added more, still won't cut. how can i fix it? or do i need to sharpen it and how?

Yes you need to "have" the blade sharpened. I emphasize "have" for if you've never done one it is virtually impossible for me to insruct you from here. It doesn't cost much to get them sharpened. Also make sure the guy tells you what direction to put the chain back on. Thank you, Dana

Chain fell off chain saw remington 10" pole saw, need directions to put back on.

Look from the side of the saw the motor/engine to left and the bar nose to the right. The thinnest part of the chain (sharpened edge) on the top of the bar is to the right.

My first chainsaw...am seeking general advice on product use etc

Ok to get correct tension on chain, basically loosen it a little until the chain on the underside of the bar is hanging a little... Now start tightening it up again. Basically you want the chain (the main part of each link) to be just touching the the underside of the bar. This will give correct tension... Note that chain does expand as it heats up so it may loose tension... so this is perhaps best done when the saw and chain has warmed a little. Also, new chain will stretch a little naturally so check tension each tme you use the saw.

If you do not know hoe to sharpen a chain properly, it is best to get someone else to sharpen it, or buy a new chain... Eventually all chains will need to be replaced because they can only be sharpened so many times before the cutting teeth become too small to work effectively or safely.

As for oil, if it is an electric chain saw, you only need chain/bar oil. Any good name branded bar/chain oil designed for chainsaws will work well.

Thanks.
