Assuming everything is hooked up, and the water valve is in the on position, you might just try replacing the water filter. It filters the water that is used for the ice as well as the drinking water. If the filter is clogged you will get no ice and the flow of drinking water will be greatly reduced.

My lg refrigerator lsxs26326 is dispensing water but not filling ice tray up. What could be wrong?

the water solenoid valve for the water dispenser is separate from the icemaker water supply solenoid valve . get to the icemaker water supply solenoid and test it if it works alright . unplug the fridge from wall outlet do not close water supply valve. disconnect water tube connection on the water discharge side of the icemaker water supply solenoid valve . pull - out power supply connection of the solenoid coil . connect solenoid valve directly to wall outlet. a faint click should be audible and water should come out from where the tube was removed -- from the water supply discharge side. if no water is coming out with the solenoid plug in , then the solenoid is faulty. but if water comes while solenoid is powered -on , check the position of the icemaker lever. if it is on off position icemaker timer won't activate icemaker water supply valve..move icemaker lever to on and check for water pouring into the icemaker tray' if no water comes out . change the icemaker timer. thanks.

I moved my GE TFX277PFSB (new in 1994) side by side to my enclosed sun porch 2 years ago when i got a new fridge for the kitchen. Today, I decided to run a water line to it to allow it to make ice again. ...

Hello,
Make sure the arm on the icemaker is in the down position,if it is up and locked in place the icemaker is off. If it is down and the icemaker is turned on,each time it got cold enough the to cycle the icemaker(usually about a hour) the icemaker started and for 7 years power was sent to the water inlet valve to fill the icemaker and the icemaker side of the water valve is burnt up. The water valve has 1 inlet teh house water supply attaches to and 2 outlets 1 for icemaker and 1 for door dispenser

Ice maker leaks or runs over Causing big chunks of ice in the drawer

It's very possible that the water inlet valve isn't cutting off completely. I had that to happen on mine.

GE side by side refrig/freezer Mod. TFH24JWTA WH. Ice maker stopped working, stop/start wire is down (on). Get water through the door, but not sure if it goes to the ice maker. Ice maker is empty of water....

usually yes if no water to icemaker could be water valve solenoid. . first you can remove cover on icemaker and put the unit thru a test mode. find the plastic or medal cam in center of icemaker head when cover is removed., theis is a flateblade screw center get a small screwdriver and turn screw counterclockwise for about a 1/4 of a turn , icemaker will start cycling if icemaker ok then it will go througha cycle let it do its thing usually a few minutes for it to cycle, if fills you may have a bad icemaker, if no fill then valve may be bad. make sure you have good water pressure from your water supply that can cause icemaker problems.

The icemaker will not work

you might need to replace the icemaker or the freezer isnt getting cold enough for the icemaker to operate correctly. if freezer isnt getting cold enought for icemaker to operate correctly you should probably have it checked by a tech. if the icemaker isnt taking water you also could have a bad water valve

Not makeing ice , defrosted frezzer, got drinking water, took back off by water lines, brown sylonied not getting power too send water up. what is wrong or were to from here

That is a water valve that supplies water to the icemaker and water dispenser. The icemaker is what energizes the valve and sends water to the icemaker. Change out your icemaker or you can just replace the module on the icemaker.

Amana side by side icemaker stopped working

The icemaker is not working because the water pressure is too low. An icemaker is controlled by a timer so it has no idea how much water is in it. The water valve gets energized for about 7 seconds letting water in the icemaker, but if there is no water pressure then the icemaker will not fill.

Kenmore side by side Mod#10657567790. No water to Icemaker. I am getting water to water disp. but none to icemaker. Changed out solenoid still no water to ice.

Hello. It sounds like the icemaker is bad. It is not the solenoid but the fact that the icemaker head is not requesting the water.

Ice machine not making ice

Hi, everak11,
Three possible solutions for you.
1: No water coming in from inlet valve. Check voltage on inlet if you have voltage and no water then replace valve.
2:Icemaker not cycleing. Lift the arm on the icemaker to shut it off and leave it for about an hour. Come back in and turn the icemake back on by lowering the arm. If the icemaker does not begin a new cycle and the arm start rising then the problem is most likely an icemaker. Replace Icemaker
3:Refrigerator not cold enough. If the freezer is not getting cold enough the icemaker will not cycle. Check the temperature in the freezer and make sure it is getting down to 0 degrees. If not then you may have another problem with your refrigerator. I hope this helps you, Let me know if you have any other questions or symptoms. Mike
