shut water off at stops under sink. Unscrew water supply lines from directly below handles. Above them you will find plastic nuts, remove them. Disconnect pop/up lever and you should be able to lift faucet from sink.

On the handle it self you should see a red and blue button plug. Remove this and you will see set screw. Remove handle, remember to shut off hot and cold water supplies under sink before you go any further.

SOURCE: how do i replace gasket on moen facuet in bathroom

On a Moen Faucet the set screw is behind the little "blue and red plastic tab", remove this tab very carefully with a small flat screwdriver. Then you should be able to see the set screw. make sure to turn of the water supply under the sink first. The set screw will probably be an "allen head" type and you will need an allen head wrench. This is a hex shaped 6-sided tool in a rod shape and is available at your local hardware in a set. Next you will need the model # of your faucet and take this to your local hardware to match with a repare kit. Moen usually has a lifetime warranty and if you have your paperwork just call Moen directly and they will send you a free replacement kit, free shipping too. The kit has installation instructions with it.

How do I adjust the volume or pressure on the hot water in my moen bathroom faucet?

Is it single lever ? If so you can try adjusting ant scald stop under handle. Always shut off water before working on plumbing.

My bathroom faucet leaks a drop of water every 30 seconds

If you live in a hard water area, you probably have some buildup on the seals. You might be able to clear it by just running water through it, but most of the time, you might have to take the faucet off and soak in vinegar or replace the seals/cartridge.

As you look at your valve on the right you will see a large screw fitting.inside this fitting is a temp/ pressure balance spool. it has failed for some reason and needs to be replaced. On both sides of the valve are 2 smaller screws. these are the water shut off valves. turn off the water and remove the larger screw fitting. remove spool and replace. Hope this helps.

My classmate

Moen Monticello 4-inch centerset bath faucets can be repair easily with only a screwdriver and adjustable wrench. Turn the water off to the both sides of the faucets under the sink. Open both the hot and cold-water valves to alleviate any remaining pressure. Remove the handles by grasping the base of the handle and turning it counterclockwise.( This works for both lever and cross handles). Loosen the Moen faucet cartridge bonnet nut with an adjustable wrench by turning it counterclockwise to the left. Pull the stem from the faucet by hand and replace. Reinstall the bonnet nuts and handles. Turn the water back on and test the faucet for leaks. The Moen Monticello faucet comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Try calling Moen to get your replacement parts free.

Need to clean single knob shower cartridge from what i read - where do i shut off water first? hot water running to bathroom - sink gets it - in shower, cold water good, hot water trickles - read lots of...

To clean it, shut off the discharge valve at the water
heater. Then, you shut the valve off of the main water supply. After which, you can start cleaning the single
knob shower cartridge. After the cleaning job, you can
open the discharge valve of the water heater, then, the
valve of the main water supply.
