Attach option is not available on mobile based email sites. You need to configure your mobile outlook for this to work.

How to open old Excel file.xls in Excel 2016.

Excel 2016 should be able to open older Excel files. You might find that simply restarting your computer solves the 'not enough memory and disk space' error.

Excel file problem

Two possibilities:
  1. You accidentally save it as an HTM or HTML file. It will still open in Excel if so. Open the file in Excel and do a Save As back to an XLS (Excel 97-2003 version file) or XLSX (Excel 2007 - 2013 version file).
  2. You associated XLS or XLSX files to be opened with CometBird. If so, right click on the file and choose "Open With," then go to the bottom of the choices and left-click on "Choose default program..." Then choose Excel and you should be all set. Windows will reassociate all your files to automatically open with Excel instead of CometBird.

Does the g1 have a memory card slot? if so, where.

Hi fbednarczyk!
The HTC Dream (G1) does have a memory card slot for micro SD cards. Hold the phone upright in your hand and look for the green call button. Once you see the call button look directly on the side of the phone you should see a small flap. Open the keyboard and you will see a little knotch pull this towards you and volia! That's where the SD card is!

When trying to open an Excel attachment thru Outlook 07, I get this error message: The system cannot find the specified file

Two possible issues: The file extension may be missing from the file and Excel has issues opening a file directly from the e-mail attachment.

It is always a best practice to download the attachment before trying to open it.

Save the file to your comptuer and verify the file has a 3 digit extension on the end. .XLS an Excel 2003 and lower extension - .XLSX is Excel 2007 extension.

Opening an attachment from an e-mail places the file in a TEMP directory on the hard drive and Excel may have issues saving your changes because of this.

Save the attachment and then open it with Excel. That way, the changes you make will be saved, you will know where the file is and you will not lose your work.

Copying pictures to my g1 from my messages

There is an app in the Marketplace called Save MMS. Install this, and you should be able to save them right to your memory card.

Add songs from internet

If you mean by downloading straight from the internet from your phone, there is an application called Amazon MP3 that allows you to purchase songs for your G1 and add them to your memory card. You have to be connected to WiFi to be able to do this though. If you want to connect it to your PC to get songs you downloaded from the internet you need the USB cable that came with the phone and connect it to your PC. On the G1 a notification will appear that says USB connected. Just open your notifications, tap on USB connected and select mount. Then your PC will detect it and allow you to view the files on the memory card. Then just copy and paste to your memory card folder.

I have a g1 and I don't kno how to put pictures or applications on my sd card. Does it do it by itself or do I have to download something and how do I do that?

To put pictures on your SD card all you need to do is attach the G1 to your computer, mount the SD card when the notification comes up on your phone, and then copy and paste any pictures you want onto it. However, you can't save applications on the SD card, they are saved in the phone memory when you download them from the Android Market.

Saving jpeg from email to g1 phone

you have to open the e-mail message, then open the picture by double clicking on it. then options----> save as, then it will let you choose to save to memory card, do that, and you should find it using your file explorer in my documents ---> my pictures folder on the memory card. if you didnt find it, try my documents ----> my pictures on the phone memory. let me know how it works out ?
