Doubt you're still having this problem as its been months....figured id post for people who stumble across this from google.
Click on the shift button in the top left, then select the mode buttom (second from top right), then press the number 2. This should switch the calculator onto linear and will give you answers with decimal points.

SOURCE: Setting the default value of my calculator to display decimals
Hello,
Since you bent on deactivating the very features that make your calculator so versatile and so powerful, here it is.
Press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO] and you will see no more fractions, nor radicals etc. You asked for it.
Hope it helps.
Testimonial: "I bought the calculator because it was on sale and I like Casio calculators; not for its fractional abilities. I can easily switch it back now. Thanks"
SOURCE: How do i convert fractions
To convert a single result to decimal, press the S--D key. To have all results come out in decimal, press SHIFT MODE 2 to select the LineIO mode.

Press SHIFT [MODE] to bring up the mode screen. Press 8 for NORM, then 2.
Bear in mind that if the magnitude of the number is too large or too small the calculator will switch to scientific notation anyway. For example, if a number has twenty leading zeros then it won't fit on the display unless it displays it as a power of ten to the negative twenty.
