SOURCE: i need rechargeaable

Since many Sony headsets use the BP-HP550-11 battery pack, I assume your battery pack is the same. If not, I assume whatever battery pack your headset came with, it is some type of plastic holder that holds two batteries together. Even though you can use regular AAA batteries (that you would have to replace often), there is a huge convenience factor with using the charging cradle that comes with the Sony headset. A solution I found was that I ordered some 550 mAh AAA batteries through Ebay (they came from England and cost me $8 total for four batteries). To make them work in the Sony headset you MUST use the bottom part of the plastic battery holder piece (all you need to do is peel off the BP-HP550-11 label and the bottom half of the plastic battery holder piece slips off of the Sony batteries). Then just slip in the new AAA batteries into the plastic battery holder bottom and then insert into the headset. The reason why you must use the bottom of the battery holder plastic piece is because the plastic piece pushes on a little switch. This switch activates the charging mechanism to enable the cradle charger to charge the batteries.

NOTE: I am not an electronics expert so I do not know if there would be any problem using other rechargeable AAA batteries (with higher mAh ratings). So I decided to be safe than sorry and ordered the 550 mAh batteries through Ebay.

I can't find a replacement headphone connecting cord Sony MDR-NC20

On the Sony MDR-NC20 model the head phone lead is fixed and cannot be replaced. If the lead is broken it is a lot easier to just replace the entire headphones.

Where can i buy ear cups for mdr-if5000

Try eBay and look for "Sony MDR-SA5000", that is SA and will work great as a replacement. You will find many vendors selling replacements for around 8 bucks. The vendors who are selling the exact replacements for the MDR-IF5000 are inferior to the original and cost more ($19.99). The SA replacements look exactly like the original and priced cheaper too, by about 1/3 the cost. They will be shipped from China, so if they offer free shipping could take up to 30 days to receive goods, just a heads up!

How do you change batteries on wireless head phones? are the batteries located in the headset ?

There is a button on the left housing to open the battery compartment lid.
The manual says only to use the batteries provided, but it appears NiMH AAA are usable.
That's what I would be trying myself.
I would be careful in getting the polarity correct, but from diagram in the manual, the provided batteried are well marked.

Are the MDR-RF925R useable with TV's

Hi,
You can use MDR-RF925R with any thing that has Line Out RCA jacks and your tv should have TV Audio Out RCA jacks to connect this wireless headphone.
Thanks.

My headphones have stopped working. I cannot hear sound from them at all, even though I haven't been using them much. It's model MDR-EX71SL and I bought them less than 9 months ago.

Have you tried them in another audio source. Head phone wires like to break at the strain relief of the main plug. Try moving the cord on the plug side of the phones. If it cuts in and out its time for a new set. Head phone wires are difficult to repair and it may be more trouble then its worth.
