I used my Magimix Food Processor, and after use I cannot remove the blade and the bowl, they're locked. Help please?

Question edited for clarity.

On the bottom of the bowl there is a plastic rod that goes into a hole as part of the safety interlock which stops you switching on with the lid removed. Sometimes they stick or the return spring breaks. Remove the lid and see if you can lift the rod a little. Sometimes just jiggling the bowl back and forth with free it up. You can also put a towel on your counter top and turn the Magimix upside down and tap the bowl on the counter. Jiggle the bowl and see if it turns?

The cusinart pro classic food processor is not working ?

Try this procedure:-- It usually goes something like this, with minor variations depending on model number:1.Remove the work bowl completely from the base
2.Plug the food processor in and turn it on
3.Use a pen to depress the dark grey/black button on the base – if it spins, proceed
4.Put the work bowl on the base with the handle facing the front of the food processor – slide the work bowl until it locks - the white tabs show in the openings on the bottom of either side of the work bowl
5.Place the lid on the work bowl with the tab slightly left of the center of the work bowl handle – slide the lid counterclockwise until it won’t slide any more
6.Place the pusher sleeve in the feeder tube of the lid with the lock facing the front of the food processor (may vary depending on model)
7.Slide the lock to the right into the locked position
The food processor should now work.
This will help.Good luck.

The Cuisinart 7 cup food processor will not start?

Check out this options Remove the work bowl completely. Turn the machine on and use a pen to depress the dark grey or black button on the base of the Food processor. If the motor doesn't spin, it needs repair. If there is spinning:Make sure the handle of the bowl is facing the front of the food processor. Place the lid tab just to the left of the handle and slide it toward the handle until it won't turn anymore. Remove the pusher sleeve from the lid and reinsert it with the lock facing the front of the food processor. Slide the lock into the locked position. If it still doesn't work, replace the third piece on the work bowl - the one piece that you haven't replaced. It will then work. This will help. good luck.

How do you unlock the lid on the food processor?

The locking happens at the handle. You need to turn the lid counter clockwise to take it off and clockwise to lock it into position.

I can't figure out how to use it.. I just want to make a smoothie!

You can get a manual at WWW. euro-pro.com.

In order to use the blender the food processor bowl and lid must be LOCKED in place. Turn the lid on processor until it's locked. Then you are ready to use the blender. Select desired speed or pulse.

In order to use the processor, remove the blender and place the gray lid in its place. It should be locked. The lid keeps the blender shaft from spinning and allows the shaft on the processor to turn.

To remove the processor bowl, gently lift up on the lid to unlock it and then turn it away from processor. Bowl lifts off. That's it! Enjoy!

Hope I have been of some help to you.

I Cuisanart mini prep and removed the bowl, lid,

Make sure the tab on the lid is making contact with the "tower" in the back and that the work bowl is locked properly into place so that the plastic tabs show on each side toward the bottom of the work bowl.

My food processer does not work

I had the exact same problem. The red light came on when I hit the "On" button, but nothing happened. Then I noticed that when the lid is locked into place, a small pin in the handle goes into a small hole in the base. I took a wooden chopstick and poked it in this hole in the base, and the unit started running. I put the bowl and lid back on the unit and locked them into place, and this time the unit ran just fine. Yeah! I will remember this the next time my unit won't run even though I know that I've properly locked down the bowl and lid. Good luck!
