Spray arms not working

Hi frustrated in Raleigh,
I understand that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, even after you have cleaned the screens and arms. What might be happening is you are not getting enough water pressure to the dishwasher.
The hot water line to your dishwasher must provide water pressure between 20 and 120 psi.
Low water pressure may occur when laundry or showers are in operation.
Wait until water use is reduced before starting dishwasher.
If you are still noticing that the spray arms are not moving or spraying water, I would have a local Authorized Technician come out to see what exactly is going on with the spray arms of your dishwasher.

Water sprays into machine on spin cycle

the machine is programmed to spray water during the initial period of the spin cycle as an added method of removing any remaining suds
that stops then the spin cycle goes into high speed spin for that last few minutes
If the problem is that it continues to spray water until the spin cycle is finished it will be the program board or program controller switch

Water spray not working

I got a thin needle and gently made a hole through the centre of the nozzle - where the water would usually come out. That cleaned the scum build up out of it and it's working fine again. My nozzle does seem to look like its going into the iron but perhaps it's to get the correct angle of spray onto the clothes.

My whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 leaks from the bottom of the door.

Some leaking around-under-from the door on dishwashers can be traced back to a split in the spray arm. If the lower spray arm develops a split in it, the spray arm can turn too fast, and shoot water directly at things that it is not suppose to spray water at....sprays water at the door vents or edges and can create water leaks. See if thats the problem

Water is not spraying

Plugged holes in spray bar or plugged filter in bottom, preventing water from draining down to the pump area. If the pump can't get water, it won't pump water up into spray bars. If spray bar holes are plugged, water can't get out.

Not enough compression to spray thompson water

Maybe just plugged. If it has the nozzle that can be rotated 180 degrees, roll it and try to spray. Sometimes a bit of debris gets in there and stops it up. If no on the rotatable nozzle, take the tip off and try to push liquid back to the container, or a waste bucket, to clear the line. You also may need to clean the tip. One last item.....since you sprayed water.....if you chased the water with the TWS, you may have made an emulsion. If so, remove the spray gun, and turn on the pump, pumping into a waste container, until the emulsion is displaced. Clean the gun. I'd say that if it'll spray water, TWS would be even easier.

Spray is very fine or not spraying

Any air leaks in the suction portion of the machine will cause it not to spray or spray weak. This is a airless paint spray correct? Your paint should be at least thin down using 1 gallon of water for a 5 gallons of paint. I find Baer paint is even thicker and had to slowly add more water.

To check if it is your paint. Fill a bucket of just water and see if it will spray your water. Of course after it gets a good prime. Let it recirculate until the water is coming out of the bypass as a solid stream. If it does not spray water then you have either a air leak or your pump packing needs replacement.

Let me know the results and the make and model of the machine.

Upper spray arms not spraying water

It sounds like you have a model that has a pot washer cycle that blocks water flow to those arms. What cycles are on your keypad? Sounds like you have it set or single rack wash

Dishwasher spray arms don't spin & spray water

Could be a a couple different issues.. Not filling with enough water or food chopper broke or food chopper filter screen clogged.

Check water level:
Run the DW and wait for the main wash to start (water will fill. pause then complete fill) The water should be no more than 1/4 inch below the heating element. If not there..replace water inlet valve.

Inspect food chopper:
1. Remove lower spray arm and rear water supply tube to upper spray arm.
2. Remove torx screws that secure the sump cover.
3. Remove primary filter
4. Remove food chopper cover to expose the chopper assembly. Inspect for breakage or blockage.
