My toshiba satellite L675d error 10-f12-0003

You may have a bad hard drive. If you are able to log into Windows, run Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostic software.
1. Download Data lifeguard:
Hard drive analysis software
2. Install the software and run an extended test on your main partition.

If the test fails, then your hard drive is bad.1. Purchase a new hard drive from a local Best Buy or other2. If you don't have the original restore CDs, order them from Toshiba

Hi,

try using ActiveBoot suite v5.0.5, when turnig on your computer. This program will scan your computer and show u all the errors, missing files, wrong dll,...and repair them. It worked very well for me as I had a TROJAN virus on my Toshiba satellite 300 and couldn't even boot anymore.
After that try use the RegistryBooster tool witch solves every windows problems.

I hope this will help. Good luck :)

Your hard drive is more than likely damaged. You can try to format the hard drive and completely re install everything and see if that works.

In my attempt to reformat and reinstall Toshiba laptop software I receive an error message 20-fffe-0017. I've tried twice

First, try and do a system restore to roll back your operating system to a previous state. Click in the link below and follow the steps on the page:

http://www.ehow.com/how_2266976_do-system-recovery.html

After doing a system restore and you still are getting the error code then you will need to reintall your operating system. Follow these steps at the link below:

Why does the error code: 10-FC12-0017 appear when I run the system recovery on my toshiba satellite a135-s2356 laptop?

I had the same problem with a customers laptop. There hard drive died nothing related to that error then when i placed in the new hard drive the recovery disks gave me 10-FC12-0017. Everything I saw online said that means the hard drive is dead but it was brand new and I even tested it on another computer it worked fine. In order to fix the issue I had to find a Windows Vista CD, deleted all the partitions with the windows disk, created a new one and then installed. Worked fine, no problems.

Toshiba Satellite A105 s4254 Wont Boot Recovery Disk

You most likely have a bad hard drive. I would replace the hard drive and run a recover disk to put your laptop back to it factory condition. if you don't have a recovery disk you can get one at one of the sites below.
