Pioneer PRV-LX1 DVD Recorder will not initialize. It flashes please wait but nothing happens.
I found that the "plug in a keyboard and hit F1" solution did work but the problem kept recurring. I got curious and dug into it. There is a CR2032 BIOS battery on the mother board that had gone dead. It is a project to dig down to the battery but replacing it solved the problem.
