I have my tilt set to send pictures to my sd card and when I want to transfer a picture to my laptop I will e-mail it to my self, or put it in the mini sd to sd card adapter that came with the sd card in the card reader of the laptop.

I have the sim card slot in my dell inspiron n5010 laptop but when i am inserting the sim card it is not supporting and the sim card falls inside the laptop.

Hi,

Is it not a sim card slot.

The slot you are mentioning sounds like a card reader, its used for SD memory cards which you would normally use in a camera.

Cheers

I purchased a sim card from tmobile to replace my att simcard on my samsung SGH-A707.The new sim card won't work,it sy's incorrect sim and networt lock.

Hello

The sim wont work because it is locked to the att network which means it will only work with att sim cards.

You will have to unlock the phone from the att network before it can work with the T mobile sim card

You should contact your network provider so as to get steps to unlocking your phone from the att network or you should contact a repairer to help you unlock it

Thank you for visiting fixya

Could you please tell me how I can use an ATT phone w780 sony ericsson with a tmobile sim card?

Hi i'm Rain.
You will need to take the At&t phone and the sim card from your T-Mobile to a Cell Phone company where they do repairs and tell them you want to flash it so it works in an At&t providing the ATT phone uses a sim. They both must use a sim and the sim must fit into the sims slot on th ATT mobile device.

Won't accept ATT SIM card

Here is two possibility either you used sim in wrong slot like you have nano sim and you used into micro sim slot or other different slot. or your mobile is sim locked and that is why it not accepting at&t sim. here is how to unlock at&t simcard.
As your att sim working fine with blackberry so sim is fine no issue with sim card. on which mobile you have tried this sim as you have not mentioned your other mobile it is same as blackberry or apple or samsung mobile.

Sidekick lx

this is what you do:
you have to call at&t and tell them what you are doing they will give you a code for the fone, but you will not be able to send pictures, email, recieve pics or anything..well that is if the sidekick is compatible with the sim card, because on the box it says it is not..GOOD LUCK!!

Samsung sgh-x426

I also have a x426 from 2003 and it wont work with the new ATT sim cards either, This is because of the Cingular/ATT merger which created a new network. The older original ATT phone must be unlocked to use a sim card from the new merged network. Try calling ATT Mobility customer service and request the subsidy unlock code. They are required to give it to you upon request, but it takes several days usually to get the code. I know because I used to work at a ATT call center.

2 Problems..Sim Card Problems

Well, first off, an iPhone won't work at all with a T-Mobile SIM card. American iPhones are locked to AT&T's network -- only AT&T SIM cards will work in them.

As far as activating it with AT&T, make sure that the iPhone isn't connected to the computer while you install iTunes. Once iTunes is installed, connect the iPhone to the computer and iTunes should launch automatically and begin the activation wizard. Just follow the instructions on the screen and answer the questions.
