To troubleshoot & solve this problem, first be sure you have adequate gas in the tank. If that checks out OK, do the following:
1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.
2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.
3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).
4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.
If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's
Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or
hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it,
turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.
Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.
They sell generic replacement burners (one size fits all) At Wal-Mart for $10 each. I bought 3 of these last year. Their is a burner inside a burner and acts like a trombone. So one size fits all. Very nicely built burners too. Not that awful pot metal but real steel. Came with screws and suggestions for mounting. I highly recommend them burners.
I contacted the company. Phone number 800-694-0013. You can order replacement parts thru them but they cannot take credit cards by phone you have to mail in the payment and they will Fed-Ex the part when they receive it. The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, she stated these grills are made for Meijer's pretty much exclusively and they are made in China and that if you can locate their website it is all in Chinese. She also stated the distributor has opted not to sell the replacement parts for these in the store.
Don't buy GrillPro grills they are junk!!!!!! I have had a GrillPro Model #236464 Stainless Steel Grill and after Three Seasons it has rusted to peices!!!! All Three burners and all Three Flavor Guards and both Channel Cross lites have rusted to a big pile of rust peices. I called GrillPro which is Manufacturered by Onward Manufacturing Company Limited in Canada and all of these pieces have been on back order for over a month and the company says they don't expect the parts anytime soon. Onward Manufactures the following brands:Broil King, Broil-mate, Sterling, Barbecue Genius and GrillPro. I have looked at several of these brands at Menards and they all use the same type of Burners and Flavor Guards that are in my grill so unless you want a big pile of Rust after three years of use I would avoid all of these Brands!!!!!! Forget the problems Take it back where bought and buy something else!! These brands will let you down! Al Gavin - 515-238-3920
