If your processor does not heat up it's probably dead.. try running it without the fan and see if the heat sink still doesn't heat up

Okay , first of all this is called Date shortage , or let's call it data error , if the fan runs it means the motherboard accepted the voltage from the powersupply and it's runing it , okay , next is the data on screen , first check by your eyes if any thing looks wierd on board , ofcourse you will take the ram off and clean the slides as a first step as well , in many cases its the problem , ok next if every thing looks ok on the board then you need to look on the cpu circute , measure all the mosfets , directions of track , and the problem will be there , good luck

I am using a intel Dh61ww board with intel i3 2100 processor. When i switch on the pc the cpu fan rotates and halts.no display. pls help me.

The steps I would take would be : 1 make sure you have a power supply with the proper power connections and at least 500 Watts 2 remove and reset the power connections, try to boot 3 disconnect all hard drives and cd/dvd's, try to boot 4 remove all ram/memory sticks, try to boot and listen for the beep or beeps if it doesn't beep and still shuts off, you have a bad motherboard and/or cpu if it does beep, you need to try different ram

Every thing is working fine but no display as i changed the display & also checked the same display on another set it is working ok changed display ic but still same problem

Power off your computer and remove the smps 24 pin connector to the motherboard and short the green and black pin and see if the SMPS is working if not replace the smps.
Remove memory from the memory slot and switch on the computer if you hear beeps clean the memory or change it with new one that fixes the memory slot
If no beeps by removing the memory then remove the processor fan and clean it with soft cloth and apply thin layer of heat sink compound and switch on the computer
If you still not hear the beeps then change the processor
If still no beeps take the motherboard to a chip level Technion the secondary power supply or the clock, reset etc in the mother board has gone wrong or not producing them

MSI H55M-P31 board & having 2 2GB DDR3 modules and I7 Processors, installed memory on dual channel and sytem beeps 3 time and no display

Depending upon which BIOS make is installed in your computer, 3 beep means RAM fault.
Check the specification of your motherboard for the recommended RAM.
Reseat the RAM nodules in the motherboard.
Remove the RAM and get them tested at your friendly computer repair shop.

ASUS P5Q3 with Xeon CPU

Yes, it will work. However it depends on which one you buy. Here's one that will work with that particular motherboard.

First, visit this website. Now search for, "Xeon" (Without the quotes, though). Click the second result on the list, which should be the, "Intel Xeon E3110 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E3110 - Retail." That processor is a 45NM LGA-775 processor, which Asus claims that motherboard can support 45NM LGA-775 processor.

Let me know if I can assist you further, or if I need to explain anything in more detail. If this solves your question, please rate the solution.

I have a mecer computer, LGA 775 motherboard asus and the problem is the computer turns on when switching on and there is no display it beeps non stop . CPU and power supply fans are working ,lights goes...

continuous beeping is Power supply, motherboard, cpu, or keyboard problem. somecases it can also be the memory.

start with the memory then cpu and powersupply and finally motherboard.

let me know if the beep code changes as you change components, count the short and long beeps.
