SOURCE: material of Sanyo titanium bowl in rice cooker

They are generally made of aluminum to reduce wieght. But sometimes they can be made of stainless steel as well.

One way to determine this is to open the inner pot and see the outside. If it is shiny (like chrome-look), then it is most likely made of steel. If it has a dull finish, or has the titanium coating on the outside as well, then it is most likely aluminum. However, the best way to determine is to directly contact Sanyo Customer Support.

Hope that helps!

Oh yes, and please rate this as fixya if you found my information useful, so we can close the problem ticket.

Thanks in advance,

2cup rice with 4 cup water. Why is the water boiling out of the cooker?

Way too much water! Use the same amount of white rice to water and a third of a cup more when using brown rice.

Anodized coating in Panasonic Rice cooker cooking Bowl is of very bad quality. The coating comes off within a few months and the inner portion of Cooking bowl starts blackening making it unfit for use.

If it is still in warranty, contact Panasonic. You may be able to take it back to the store where you bought it, but that is a long shot.
Warranty Information Panasonic Commercial Food Services

Take it back or send it back.
Look for a stainless steel inner pot rice cooker instead, just do a Google search and find what best fits your needs.

I need an inner pan replacement for my Zojirushi Micom Rice cooker NS-KCC05

Unfortunately the product is discontinued and replacement bowls are no longer available. The part number for the bowl you need is "B151". I need one myself, and searched for one but did not find it anywhere. Don't waste money buying other bowls because they will not work properly, even if they seem to fit.

if you use the cup that came with the unit to measure the rice, it would be 5 cups of non-cooked rice whichwould make your 10 cups of rice when done. now the water would have to be 5" marking on the inner bowl.
