Laser pointer is on.
On page 2 of the manual it says:
Battery charging light. Blinking : Charging
Lit: finished charging.
So everything is still fine. At least as soon as the light burns normal.
Had same problem with blinking lights and not charging.
Plug charger base in (blinking lights), remove controllers, and plug USB cable into front charge slot (behind hinged panel). This reset charger base and lights stopped blinking. As FYI - the USB was connected to other device (charging it). Add the controllers and correct charging lights show up - including the controller 1 and 2 symbols. Controllers now charging.
If the charge lamp blinks slowly (green)
-battery is charging. If the light is off
- battery is not charging.
- Also whe charging is complete, the charge lamp stops blinking and turns off. If the charge lamp flikers (green)
- the ambient temperature is not suited to charging. Cganhe the battery indoors with an ambient temperature of 5C to 35C (41F to 95F)
- The USB cable or charging AC adapter is not properly connected, or there is a problem with the battery. Disconnect the USB cable or unplug the Charging C adapter and correctly connect it again, or chage the battery.

Red light indicates that the battery is charging. The light will goes off to inform you the charging is complete. Possible that the battery was alreay damaged since you left it charging overnight. Charging time is approximately 5 hours only.
I suggest that you have to replace your battery with a new one.

The blinking light indicates a charging error. Try connecting a 9 volt battery to your camera battery. Sometimes if the battery has lost all charge, the charger doesn't recognize it properly.
the steady red light showing when in charger shows that
it is charging. the blinking red light when taken out of
charger or turned on and off means it is not fully charged.
