The hose or the counter weight is probably hooked on something under the sink.

SOURCE: need to fix a broken moen kitchen faucet

I had the same problem with my Aberdeen single lever with a pull-out sprayer a few months back. If you are the original owner of the faucet, it's under warranty; you shouldn't have to pay for any parts. Call: 1-800-BUY-MOEN (1-800-289-6636) and tell Customer Service what the problem is. They will send you the Handle Mechanism Kit at no charge. (Mine was part #93980 for my Aberdeen faucet, but yours may be a different part number.) It's tricky to take apart and get back together but my husband and I have zero plumbing experience and got it all fixed in about 20 minutes. The Moen.com website also has exploded parts diagrams of all their faucets so you can identify exactly what part you need, and they have some little videos and slideshows to show how to replace parts. If you can't reach Customer Service on the phone, you can go to "Contact Us" on their website and email them a description of your problem.

SOURCE: How do I remove the aerator on a moen pull out

It should just unscrew. You might need some needle nose pliers as the aerator may be slightly recessed.

SOURCE: We have a Moen 87315C kitchen faucet and it is

If it's leaking at sprayer, and not the base where connected to hose, try this. Buy a bottle or jug of CLR. (calcium, lime, rust ) from hardware store, and pour enough in a bowl that will submerse sprayer in it. When you go to bed, or out for a few hours, turn off both taps (obviously) and relieve all pressure as well from sprayer. Now wrap an elastic around the handle of the sprayer so that lever is depressed, and submerse it in the bowl of CLR, and let it work overnight or at least for a few hours. Next Day, or Later, remove elastic from sprayer, and try it a few times and see if leak has stopped. Quite often you get calcium build up on internal washer/seal, and this will clean it off. If no CLR, you can try vinegar as well, but I find CLR better. If it appears better but not stopped completely, give it another treatment.

Moen kitchen sink faucet side sprayer is stuck on

We had this same problem. We twisted off the sprayer cap to access the diverter valve under the trigger. The nylon diverter was stuck down into the cavity and was not popping out when the trigger was released. We pushed it down several times with needle nosed pliers to release it then applied a drop of household oil lubricant with the valve pushed all the way in. Then pushed and released several times to work the lubricant around the sides of the valve. After re-assembly, the sprayer seems to work perfectly again.

Repair moen single lever faucet. Cannot get valve out.

All Moens are the same- so no matter what model u have- u do the same thing. U have to pull the valve out. It's very hard to pull. It may take several tries- don't be afraid to pull. My husband is a plumber. He said they're difficult to get out. U just have to pull. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I have a moen pull out kitchen faucet that leaks

You have a bad internal o-ring or the sprayer o-ring is leaking, if you look under the sink turn it off and then turn it back on, if you see it leaking out the center shft where the water pipes go into then the faucet may have a broken pipe or loose pipe. check and tell me where it's leaking at. You can buy kits to repiar them they are inexpensive.

Moen One-Handle Kitchen Faucet Leak - Hot Only

http://www.moen.com/browsecatalog/catalog/specpartsearch.cfm?location=TopNavCustomerSupport

Moen uses a cartridge on their faucets. You have to remove the handle. You will find the stem and a small U shaped retainer. Pull the retainer out and pull the cargridge straight up. Sometimes the cartridge is in there pretty tight and you have to pull hard. Once you do this, take the cartridge to your local hardware store. Replace it with the one you have because they have 2 different one. Install it back in the same order it was removed. Hope this helps and good luck.

Moen 7065 leaking at base of lever control in kitchen faucet

Yes, a cartridge will probably solve it. There are two different Moen cartridges so be sure to take the old one with you so you get the correct one.

Dripping faucet

Moen is a cartridge style unit. They make two different cartridges that you can buy at Home Depot. Turn the water off under the sink and then remove the handle. You will see the the cartridge. It has a U shaped retaining clip that pulls out. Once you remove it, then take a pair of pliers and pull the cartridge out. Take it up to HD and match the one you have. The new one will slide right back in and you will reverse the process.
