Your problem is with the tv tuner. Use a vcr tuner connected to your antenna, connect vcr to tv set video input and you have a working tv for normal reception.
With a digital set top box, you do not need an antenna for your TV. You need to switch the TV to whatever input you have connected the TV to. Usually the set top box is connected to the TV by an HDMI cable. Take a look at what input on your TV the cable connects to, and then set the TV to that input. It should then work fine.
Usually this happens to my set when I am in HD cable channel mode after being on a non-digital ANALOG channel.
I basically reset the TV by changing to a DIGITAL cable channel -- stay on that channel for ten-twenty seconds -- then I switch back DIRECTLY to a HD channel (key in channel number directly on remote).
TV works fine -- seems to be a glitch when the TV changes modes from Analog to HD
it probably remained locked on the viewer and there are no images capture stored into the camera ..that's why it says that ....and it must be a way to restore the function of that button cause no matter if you lock it permanently into the the shooting mode its still a issue of getting pics out of it ....most cameras have to be on viewing mode when are plugged on the data cable ...but ..if you can open it and switch it on the mode that allow you to take pictures...you can always get the pictures from the SD card directly via an card reader ...adapter ( USB) that cost only a few dollars...
Then I would say you have a problem with the Main Board in the 37". Have it looked at by a service company in your area if he wants to work on a Vizio. Parts are difficult to obtain at times.
put your camera mode in t "P" setting then go to menu & you should see color or pictue options to switch the color back to color....i have a cybershot dsc-w55 idk what u have but try that .... GOOD LUCK !
the reason why the lens zooms out is because the zoom switch is faulty and might need replacing. The way to tell this is when you switch it on in camera mode you will see the zoom bar displays on the lcd and stays there.
Hi,
are there any problems with the status display? faint or missing items?
Two possible relatively easily fixable reasons,
1) The switch behind the set button has failed, although not definitive, is it still clicking like the others?
2) the ribbon cable from the back to the main board needs changing, common on these although usually only if the back has been off a few times.
Parts for canon cameras are available from most approved service centers but its worth phoneing a few as the markup differs from one to another. another way is to buy a faulty camera from somewhere like ebay and use parts from that..
If you opened and unable to find the switch, then the switch might be snapped, or the sw slider was not aligned to the sw itself. you can find it by aligning the sw slider of the back cover to the main board, its a very small switch soldered on the board near the upper portion of the LCD panel. If you find it, slide it to leftmost, at the same time, move also to the leftmost the sw slider at the back cover. Assemble it carefully, thanks
