The thin plastic 'frame' in the front of the LCD screen, is the Display Bezel.
Goes by many names. Display Bezel is used by HP.
Display Mask, LCD Bezel, LCD Panel Bezel, and LCD Front Bezel, are a few other examples.
Lenovo/IBM uses LCD Front Bezel.
Lenovo doesn't show an HMM for the IdeaPad's, other than for the S9e series, and S10e series, (Notebook), plus the A1-07 series. (Tablet)
(Hardware Maintenance Manual)

I also see there are no guides posted by users.
Therefore we'll have to 'wing it', using my years of experience with repairing laptops, and you as the tech.
1) Do you see any screw covers on the LCD Front Bezel?
May not be the usual synthetic rubber covers. May be plastic, and the same plastic, and color as the LCD Front Bezel.
Example,

Scroll down to the photos in Steps 1 and 2.
Also note the 'seals' on the side of the Display Assembly, shown in Step 2 photo.
We'll start with this.
2) Haven't worked on a Y510, and perusing the internet; it seems no one has found a solution, for removing the LCD Front Bezel off of an IdeaPad Y510.
{ ALL power removed before beginning. Remove the AC adapter
(Charger), and Battery }
3)
A) There is no sticky double-sided tape holding it on.
B) Can't simply 'pop' it off, as with other Display Bezels, that do not use Philips head screws to hold it on.
[ For all Display Bezels, (Other than this baby, perhaps), there are locking tabs on the outside edges of the Display Bezel.
These match up to snap locks, on the inside edge of the Display Cover. (Top cover of laptop)
When the Display Bezel is removed, the locks snap loose ]
C) I suggest remove the screws which hold the Display Assembly to the laptop, and see if at the bottom of the Display Assembly, there are screw covers, or just screws, to remove.
If there are, and no other screw covers/screws to remove, the LCD Front Bezel should pop off.
This is what I mean by pop off,

{ The laptop is made by Wistron. (Philippines) One of the three major laptop manufacturers, that makes laptops for ALL laptop brand manufacturers.
Such as Acer, Compaq, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Asus, you name it }
