Please describe your Brother HL-2040 Laser Printer problem

This is our second times problem, after we printed about 50++ pages, the toner light come out. It mean the toner is low. But we just change to new ink.

Yep this will always happen if your just using a replacement toner. They will be depleted faster compared to the original Brother toner.

Make sure you replace your toner with the original Brother toner.

Brother 2040 yellow toner light on & won't print. Toner just replaced 8 weeks ago. Printer purchased 6 months ago.

You have a one year warranty with Brother if you need repair. You might shake the toner, or put a small electrical tape over the little round windows on the toner cart. to use the rest of the toner, and press the go button 3 times to print the report that tells you how many prints you've made, you could just be out of toner again...

New Toner Cartridge Does not Print (HL 2040)

hi!  have you check you toner, it has a white strap, you need to strip it to open the nozzle of your toner. but before you do that you need to shake it first to have a sharp print out before you would strip that white strap. have a nice day

Sounds like the toner cartridge is faulty. I would change the cartridge.

HL-2040 Almost black Pages

Drum needs replacing, normal consumable, possible faulty toner hard to know when you use non gen items.

Dont recomend refills causes too many problems, like you are experencing, put in a real brother toner should fix problem.
