Moen T2113 shower faucet no hot water

remove and turn cartridge 180 degrees then re-install

probably have a kink on how water line feeding valve..if possible to cut drywall bhind tub valve and inspect pipe at bottom plate...moen faucets are equipped w/ anti scald device, pressure balanced (newer models) and this could cause cold water to overwhelm hot water...

Clogged galvanized pipes. Replace with Pex or Copper lines. Or bad Moen cartridge- see department store for replacement or call Moen direct. You can get the # from gethuman.com

do you have hot water elsewhere? if not, might be that your water heater is not heating.
if you do have hot water elsewhere, did you let the faucet run for a minute or 2.
did you have hot water before? is this a new house? new valve?
need a little more detail.
on posi temp valves, if there were no water coming out of the hot side of the valve, the valve will not operate.

these valves can be adjusted by removing the handle and adjusting the white gear that regulates the hot and cold that come out, try going more to one way if it gets colder then go the other way.

IS THIS A SHOWER ONLY? IF SO ,I WOULD REMOVE THE SHOWER HEAD FIRST THEN TURN YOUR WATER ON.THE HEAD JUST MIGHT NEED TO BE CLEANED AFTER 11 YEARS.

probable that there is mineral deposit's,scale buildup,inside. pull cartridge and look in valve body,turn water on to it and flush valve body real good.possible model #1222-if it's posi temp ,#1225 for reg faucet

You can try to rotate the first plastic ring to the left of center a few teeth, this will let the handle advance alittle more to the hot side.

Did the hot water shut off get turned back on fully after the change? Is the hot water line kinked under the sink? Is the hot water shut off valve working?

Wow A Mystery Faucet!!! SOUNDS LIKE THE WATER LINES FEEDING THE FAUCET MAY BE SWITCHED. CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE COLD FEED GOES TO THE COLD SIDE AND THE SAME FOR THE HOT. SOMETIMES MISTAKES ARE MADE WHEN INSTALLING THE FAUCET. MAKE SURE THEY ARE CONNECTED THE SAME AS THE 2 THAT ARE WORKING. IF YOU HAVE THE TIME AND PATIENCE, YOU CAN TAKE A WORKING FAUCET AND INSTALL IT IN PLACE OF THE (mystery faucet) AND SEE IF YOU HAVE THE SAME RESULTS.
