I have just inherited a L'optic modern Ltd Reflecting Telescope Model OMA 402, but with no assembly or useage instructions - are you able to assist? Very many thanks

This is an unknown imported reflecting style telescope. No manuals exist-- however they all assemble and are used in the same way. Here is a very similar scope made by Meade the manual for this is available at the link below:

Do not buy that telescope. It is a tiny reflector style telescope, with a shaky tripod.

Instead look at one of these. Much more aperature and a stable Dobsonian mount.

My telescope fellover & the counter balance mount broke. Am I able to purch a replacement part. If so can I get a parts breakdown? The model is a Meade model 114EQ-DH4 4.5 Equatorial Reflecting...

I have just been given an EduScience reflecting telescope with tripod but with no manual or instructions. There seems not to be a seriel or model number, but it's mostly aluminium coloured with black ends...

You will not find a manual for this scope -- sold by Toys R Us by the way.

However Meade telescopes maintains a web site with all their manuals. REFLECTORS all go together in a similar fashion. Look on the web page below under REFLECTORS for a manual similar to your telescope.

Where can I find out what parts I need for a telescope that was given to me? I know I need a new eye piece but I'm not sure what else

I inherited a Sears Discover Equatoril REfractor

with all of their manuals. Look under REFRACTOR for one that is similar to your telescope. They all go together and work in a similar fashion.

I just purchased a TASCO Starguide 60 telescope at a garage sale and it is missing the owners manual. Can you please tell me how I can obtain another owners manual?

They do not come with manuals. However Meade maintains a web site for their telescopes. Look under REFRACTOR for one similar to your telescope. They all go together almost the same way,

My 10 yr old daughter bought a used telescope, the instruction manual was not with it. Can I get one for a 50AZ-P. We are not sure how to use the eye pieces.Thank You

Sorry about Meade's responses, but their website has a download section for the telescope manuals - you may not find one that matches exactly, as they produce hundreds of models, but one that is close should suffice. As for eyepieces, there are several good vendors out there; Orion Telescopes, Meridian etc. Just check the barrel size; either .965" (Japanese standard) or 1.25" (American standard).
