I'm in the UK bought my

What do I need do to stop my Outliner II from being noisey. It was fine in the US, but unable to find a 110-120Vac 60Hz convertor which uses a 240V 50Hz mains supply in the UK.

My barber has these clippers but don't use them because they have to use a sponge between the motor and the casing or the they need some kind of large power convertor.

I think I need 240V 50Hz to 110~120Vac 60Hz power convertor

I sell transformers for the Andis Outliner for them to work no. 07983019195 in the uk

After trying your number I've had no response.

What I intend to do is go to the states to buy a VC100 for $14 or VC300 for $25 from DCACPOWERINVERTERS.COM

Apparently these transfomers maintain the US mains frequency of 60hz @ Input 110/22/220/240v Output 110/220-240v

This trimmer is only made to be used with 110V, we do not have this model in 240V. There is no way to stop the noise. If you would like to purchase a unit made for 240V please call 1-800-558-9441 and speak with one of the Andis customer service reps.

Thank you for purchasing Andis.

My new andis t outliner making a loud noise

The Andis T-Outliner that you purchase from the USA is not for UK voltage 220 50 HZ, the Voltage is too high, the only way to control the voltage is transformer from 220V to 120 V. The Andis Trimmer that may work for you is the GTX trimmer this trimmer was manufactured for Canada and there voltage is 220V 50HZ.

It is always the same to be careful of el. current in different countries.

I have some green colored leakage from the handle of my Andis Outliner II trimmers. Is that normal?

if the shaver is working fine i would not worry about it , they use electrical grease and they also use grease on some of the internal working parts . it might be that the shaver got to hot and melted some of the grease . i would just wipe it off .

My andis T-outliner is makeing a loud noise

The problem you describe is most likely due to the fact that the machine you bought is designed to operate on 110v/60Hz electrical supply as used in North America. In fact the T-Outliner is only designed to operate on 110v/60Hz so even if you use a transformer you will only convert the voltage from 110v to 230v. You will not convert the frequency 'Hz' from 60Hz to 50Hz which is necessary with an electrical product with many moving parts such as a clipper to operate correctly on the European electrical supply which is 230v/50Hz........Check on ebay 'Voltage and Frequency Converter' about 65 pounds. The only solution

Want to adjust trimmer so i give a better outline i just bought new blades, not sharp enough

Sometimes the new blades are not sharpen enough, You need to have it resharpen by a professional and adjust to the type of work you want it to do. Also sometimes even if you have the blade resharpen it will not cut, because the trimmer motor needs more power to move the blade side to side faster. On and the Andis GTO T-outliner trimmer this the most comm problem. Try Mannys Sharpening
