I have an LG WM1832CW. Machine wont drain and

I have an LG WM1832CW. Machine wont drain and has an OE message. I noticed the pump is not turning on and I cleaned all drain hoses and filters. I removed the pump and bench tested it and it works fine. I metered the power supply to the motor and started the machine to drain and there is not voltage there. I believe it is a relay on the main board or something else with the board. Is there anyway to check this and repair a board. Its probably a relay and Id hate to buy a new machine for the cost of a $5.00 part.

SOURCE: LG Washer wont start, no power

Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

SOURCE: For LG WM2233HW, Error Code OE. Already check

Replace the water pump. Because the water can not pump out, the machine idles for a while then stops with the error code OE. The technician said, the drain hose should be hang high before curse down to the drainage so air can not go to the hose.

OE error please

There may be a few different reasons why the OE error code can display on your washing machine. Is it the LG washer getting the OE error code? The OE error code on the LG washing machine display is an indication of a NO DRAIN issue. The 3 issues that may cause this fault code is a bent drain hose, the drain pump filter is blocked, or the drain pump may have foreign objects lodged in it making it unable to drain. All these issues can cause your LG washer to display the error code OE. With all these different reasons, checking all 3 components will clear the error and fix your LG washing machine.

What do we do after replacing the pump on an LG frontload washing machin, yet still get error message OE?

Assuming you cleaned the pump strainer?

Likely the drain hose leading from the pump to the drain, the section

inside the cabinet that "u-turns" back down is plugged up with

junk.. I had to remove the hose from the machine and force water

thru it at a outside faucet to clear what looked like a turd from the

inside of the drain hose..My shop vac could not dislodge it..

Lg wahser wm1832cw flashes oe on readout. nothing in drain

Hi,

If you are getting this code it is because your washing machine has tried for at least ten minutes to drain the water out of the machine. The most likely cause of this problem is that you have a plugged pump filter or you have something stuck in the pump filter.Make sure that you unplug your washing machine. To clean out the pump filter you must empty the washing machine water. The best way to do this is to manually drain the water into a low bucket or basin. Then lay a towel down to catch to remaining small amount of water. Remove the pump filter, clean out any debris, and wash out the filter. Then plug your washer back in and restart the washing machine.Check that your machine is properly leveled. A washer that is too far out of level may not drain properly. Make sure that you are level front to back as well as side to side. This solution will solve your problem

Thank You !!

OE message on our LG WM1832CW washer

I just was searching for the same exact error on my LG WM1832CW washer. From reading the other posts on different manufacturers I realized this was a pump clog issue for mine too. There is a small door near the bottom of the front of the washer and if you open that there is a filter basket. Once you start turning it and break the seal, the water will come out quickly, have 2 flat large tupperwares so you can catch the water. Once you clean out that filter it's good to go. A 5 minute job.
