Fuel mixture ratio for Ryobi SS300 weed eater

Are you sure about the model number? I see several 30CC engine string trimmers by Ryobi. Two are the Ryobi RY30040B (SS30) and a RY30544 (SS30).

For both of these models, mix a high quality 2-cycle engine oil at 2.6 oz. per gallon of gasoline to pour into the gas tank. This ratio is used in several other Ryobi string trimmer models. Many Ryobi product manuals are available here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals . Most Ryobi gas powered and 40V battery-powered tools will have a model number that starts with RY. The 18 V battery powered models often start with a P.

I hope this helps. If you add a comment with the actual model number, I may be able to provide more information.

Repair manual for ryobi line trimmer rlt900

Jerry,

That number is not the model number for the trimmer, which always starts with RY. It is the number for the "bump head assembly" which is considered an accessory. They made 3 for this application as follows:
  • Bump Head Assembly, RLT1000, RLT900, RLT1004K
Once you determine your correct trimmer model number you can go to the link below and find your manual. Hope this helps.

How to assemble a ryobi petrol pole pruner

Not knowing what model number you have, I have attached a link to the Ryobi RY43160. This is the manual for this specific product.
http://manuals.ryobitools.com/system/files/6679/original/RY43160_750_trilingual_01.pdf?2011

It does give you an exploded view of assembly on page 11. I hope this may be of some help to you.

In the event this does not help, you can always call the Ryobi help line at 1-800-860-4050 or try www.ryobitools.com
