Ms word 2007 docs print every other line

Documents created in ms word 2007 will not print entire doc. Preview shows all lines, but when printing it skips every other line. Other docs (ie; Excel) print fine, so I don't believe it's a printer issue. Any ideas?

Isn't the driver updated when the program is loaded? Other print jobs work fine--Excel for example prints without incident. Normal print jobs are fine as well. I have a HP Photosmart 2610xi printer btw....

Thank you Tallow....that did the trick. I did the whole uninstall and reinstall of the printer, and that solved the issue. Many thanks!

when ever i try to print a document it only prints header and fotter

This seems like a print driver problem. You may have to get an updated driver for your printer for Msoffice 2007.

. Did you deleted anything out of your computer lately. You may have currupted the print driver. It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, and log on for any new updates for the print driver when you install it.

The problem is that your documents were created in older version of ms word now you need to open it up in xp 2007 which is not possible. You need to instal ms 2003 also on your machine so that you can open up older documents

HP Photosmart C7200. Printer is not printing the bottom quarter of the page, despite print preview showing the whole page fits within the margins. I am using A4 paper

Try reseting the printer to factory defaults- also does the same problem happen when you a printing from a computer or trying to print a scan directly on the printer?

try restoring the printer to factory default settings, you can also try reinstalling the drivers on your computer.

Printing only every other line in Word 2007 doc

Dear pony, it could be because you might have changed your print settings.
You can press CTRL+P to change settings

You might also select the text you want to print and print selected.
You can also format the text by going into formatting options of MS word.
This can be because you've put the number of copies to 2. Thats why its printing again. Change it to default and it should fix your problem

HELP

You may need to adjust your margins so that the bottom border shows. In other words, go to file> page layout>margins and adjust the bottom margin to a lower number, the check print preview.

If that does not work, try checking the border settings. Perhaps line weight has been set to 0 or color has been set to white or no color for the bottom, causing it to be invisible.

Format --> Boarders & Shading --> Page Boarder

Here in the Preview Window you can see what is getting on Boarders
