Remotes not working

You must press the DEVICE button to select among the just what the remote may control. Once you select which one, the other controls on the remote (such as PLAY) work. Page 11 of the guide above mentions this device button. Note that when you are finished using the DVD, you may have to select DEVICE again to select the TV so the buttons will then control the TV. Old remotes require you to enter codes to operate extra devices and indeed the TV but I think your remote may not require such.

Logitech makes universal remotes that can handle multiple devices. Checkout their website and look to see if the audio sonic model is supported. There may be some other brands but I've got not seen the Logitech.

• It's in safe mode
• Remove a battery
• While holding the 2 button on the number pad section of the remote, replace the battery
• Let go of the 2 button
• This will take it out of safe mode
• The device buttons will stop flashing and the remote will work

replace it. you deserve logitech harmony
or just drop by local dollarshop to get a replacement.

I have found whenever my Harmony Remote stops controlling my devices, a firmware update will usually fix the problem!!! If you dont know how to do one, just look at the link below:

I have found when you are not able to control devices, a firmware update will sometimes fix the issue. If you do not know how to do a firmware update, please look at the following link:

If the firmware update does not work, you may have to learn the power commands from the original remotes. The following link shows how this is done:

It just started working again. Maybe it took the day off.

Unplugging my TV for 15 seconds (longer actually - at least a minute) made the remote and the satellite TV remote both work again with the TV.  Thanks for the tip!
