All sorted now, I got one from UK distributor, fortunately I had already managed to fix all the problems. Thanks

    What were the problems...

I think it was several points damaged on print along with a broken pin in one of the XLR input sockets. So I suspect it may have been dropped.

Try http://www.peavey.com/support/contactinfo/ You may be able to get one from them. When I was doing repairs they would only release schematics to Peavey dealers but you can always ask.

SOURCE: the power of the Peavey Escort 3000 Portable PA

A failure probably occured in one of the power amps and has blown the fuse or worse. DO NOT replace the fuse and try to operate it as further damage may occur. Take it in for repair.

SOURCE: there are some burnt carbon resistors beyond

Try these schematics:

http://elektrotanya.com/peavey_tnt115s_sch.pdf/download.html

http://elektrotanya.com/peavey_tnt_100_1974.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "Get Manual" at the web page and click on it to download.

Please note that on the first schematic above, the power amp schematic is way down beyond the parts list and layout of the preamp section... keep scrolling. ALSO the powoer amp shows a real WIERD connection where the output transistors drive against ground and the center tap of the power supply transformer for the power amp portion then bounces around with the audio output... that is a wierd connection but it is possible.

sounds like an internal connection problem. open access panel and check the solder connection is not broken or loose. Be sure the metal mesh jacket is not touching the lead wire as that would cause a scratchy noise and feedback, or maybe near the internal cable causing feedback

Could u please send me a circuit diagram of Peavey sp2 crossover with the exact rattings or values of the parts? cos the image of the bulb you have sent is different from the one in my speakers

Here is a link to forum that someone has posted the soundguard protection circuit down the page:

http://forums.peavey.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2168&view=previous

The 1156 lamp MAY have slightly different shapes but is an automotive lamp. If the bulb is blown, the polyswitch fuse is likely blown as well.
