New lg vu won't wake up after 10-15 at rest. only works again after removing & reinstalling battery & powering up. works as long as you continue to push buttons. . battery full. 5 bars of service. TV symbol on top randomly displays. is this trying to pull in a signal for tv?  I do not have this option. This is the 2nd LG vu phone in a week this has happened. New phone, new battery, same sim card.

SOURCE: phone shuts off

if you droped the Vu than you could have damaged the insides and that might cause the repeating of it shuting off but a easyer way to get music onto your Vu is to get a Micro SD and get an adaptor for it and put music on that and then plug the SD into your phone its alot easyer and faster than useing the cord

hope this helps

SOURCE: LG Vu Sim Card problem

I've dealt with this issue ever since I bought this phone - and would rather throw it across the room and watch it burst into 1,000 pieces than have to see the error pop up again. All I did was cut out about 1-inch by1/4" inch strip from a postcard - or any heavy weight paper. In other words, not cardboard, but not copy paper. More like the weight of a vhs cover box, cereal box, etc. I inserted one end of the strip above the sim card and below the phone shell (over the part of the sim card that's not showing); and folded the rest of the paper strip (might have to tear some off) to be double ply above the part of the sim card that is showing. Put on the cover; you should have to press firmly to get it to fit on and smash the double-ply strip down. Make sure the double ply is only over the sim card, not any over the battery. This worked for me!

Lg vu is stuck on re-flashin screen

Remove your battery for a few minutes. If you use a SIM card in your phone. Remove it also.
Replace all & then attempt to power back on. If this continues; try a new battery.

I have four of these phones all ****, they are doing the same thing. the battery overheats and wont hold a charge, AT&T say nothing is wrong with the phone, they sent me a new battery and a month later the same problem occurred, I was lucky I had ins, they sent me a Sam-sung to replace it, nice phone. The only solution I have is don't buy another LG, you keep your ins and keep submitting a claim until they fix the problem.

New vu just blinks off and on, will not show its charging just blinks

Try removing the battery and SIM card and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Put everything back and start the phone again. Make sure battery and card are in properly.

My touch screen on my phone no longer works

Turn the phone off. Take the battery out then remove your sim card. Before reinstalling the battery hold the power on botton down for about 15 seconds. Replace the sim card then the battery and power the phone on. If this does not fix the problem and you can access the setup menu for the phone restore the setting to factor defaults. Good luck hope this works for you.

Everything works but the touch screen.

caring for the touch screen includes touching the screen with clean and DRY hands., if your phone fell in the water, it will likely damage the touch screen.. contact your nearest LG repair center.. i hope your phone will soon be fine..
