There is usually a hatch at the back of the washing machine.

It could be the door lock , it is locking but contact are still open

My washing machine dials won't light up and strait but the power is switched on

the pumps do go duff. you can take the pump of and try it with a 12v supply if the blade goes round free is kk but if it stugles to move you need a new pump you can get them off ebay for a 10er

Try some WD40 on the door lock on machine (not on the door) & open and close a few times. Of course the mains plug should be off the wall socket.

if you look on the back of the machine there should be a label there with the model number. (Or inside the users manual)

as i remember, it is located underneath the crossbar on the top of the machine, visible when you remove the worktop

faulty fill valve. or tap not switched on correctly if it has the blue tap remove the top of the tap and use pliers to switch it on

i have a problem with my zanussi aquacycle 1400 xtra capacity. some times it works ans some times not like there is a problem with the power the alternater? should i change this part? please help as my wife is driving me crazy.
