2005 volvo s40 2.4i oil filter location - 483a92f.jpg
Look down where the white circle is and you will see a black round casing with a 32mm (i think) nut on it. It helps to remove the air intake hose in front of the white circle for easier access.

SOURCE: location of volvo s40 2003 oil filter

It is underneath near the oil pan. Not really a filter, but the cover to the filter. Should be a black round looking thing. Remove this, and the paper filter element is inside. Be careful not to crack or damage the cover.

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter in a Volvo S40 2005

Yes that is correct. The only filter is inside the fuel tank, and as I recall its a non exchangeable filter. It just gets replaced with the fuel pump when it goes bad

under the hood towards the front of the car there is a rectangular cover, with 2 phillips screws holding it down. take out the 2 screws then you have to yank up on the cover cuz its usually pretty tight. then viola you have an airfilter

If you have a metal fuel tank there is no serviceable fuel filter as it is part of the pump.

Volvo S40 oil filter housing diaphragm

If you have 2005 T5 the oil filter is located exactly in the red car picture above. Except its not a 32mm socket, use a 36mm socket and a break bar. If you cannot do it with these tools bring it to someone who knows what they are doing. Its a simple operation.

Where is the fuel filter on a 2005 volvo s40

There is no external fuel filter for this car. It is actually a fuel pump and filter assembly located in the top of the fuel tank. The genuine part number for the complete assembly is 30792725. It will also need the O'ring that sits below the assembly part number 8638939. This is straight from the Volvo Vida information... Hope This Helps.

Can you tell me where the oil filter is located on a volvo v50

the filter is a canister/element type meaning its not one you just screw on. with that in mind youre looking for a black round cover on the oil pan which be unscrewed and when you take it down you will see the filter inside. replace it and the o rings and refill the oil. the system will hold about 6 quarts.

2005 Volvo S40 T5 is losing power while driving then suddenly regaining power. This happens over and over again.

had this problem as well.. check the oxygen sensor on it (sometimes critters like that wire) or like shel said dirty injectors or filters could be it.. bad gas is also another one... dont go to places with old tanks or that is really cheap, run at least 91

Is the oil drain plug and filter located under the plastic skidplate like guard under the car?

Yes. I beleive there are 4 bolts that hold this on. Also, the oil filter has a replacable element inside the outer plastic shell.
