Found Ryobi P505 18v battery. Compare it to what you already have. Stores have other brands if this does not match. Was listed at The Home Depot.

I think your tryiong to charge NIMH batteries oon a charger designed for Lithium Ion batteries. With all the new style batteries such as NICAD, NIMH and LI-ION, charging becomes difficult. Most chargers pre NIMH and LI-ion, were designed for NICAD's. The best advise, match your batteries with the correct charger

Where can i get a 18 volt battery for my steelcraft cordless tools.

I did a quick search on the internet and found no 18V batteries for steelcraft tools. It seems that these batteries are in short supply for some reason. If you have an old battery that is not working, then you will have to disassemble it and rebuild it if needed. That may be a challenge, but it can be done. Good luck

My Black and Decker Drill and Hand Saw have brand new battery pack and brand new charger to BE SURE battery is fully charged but still don't work

it is probably the brushes on the motors are wore out or stuck and not making contact. pretty much junk unless you feel confident enough to attempt repair.

I have an 18v Milwaukee drill. Can I use a 28v charger to charge the 18v battery

Generally, When your have the 18V milwaukee drill, you had better to use the same voltage battery charger to charge the battery. it will be more safe.

Replacement Battery

I found a 18V Powerglide battery at AceHardware.com and they say that it will fit ANY 18V Powerglide tool. Their part number is 2103992 and list price is 23.99. However I would strongly recommend that you look at the battery online to make sure it will match up. This is allthe information I can find. Good Luck
