You may have overfilled the Bobbin.....A little force will be required to remove it......I recommend using metal Bobbins......Do not fill the Bobbin outside of the Bobbin Rim...........

Release the hand wheel and wind the bobbin as full as you like or until it stops. Remove the bobbin, place it in the bobbin case and insert the bobbincase into the hook.

Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way.( If you load your bobbin case from the left side, the needle rule is normally FLAT to the RIGHT is RIGHT. There are some exceptions. If you have a newer style drop in bobbin or your bobbin case loads in the front then the rule is FLAT to the BACK.

SOURCE: I have an older Husqvarna sewing machine (sle 6570

In the middle of the bobbin winding spindle, there is a piece we'll call a "flange". It is spring loaded but sometimes sticks. When it is in the center of the spindle it diengages the sewing machine drive system that drives the needle. Make sure it is not in the center of the flange. You can use a small screwdriver and gently press the flange outward and hopefully you may hear a small click and everything will be fine. Make sure also that the round plastic piece the flange is located in the center of, is pushed all the way to the left, (in you're sitting in front of the machine) if you pull that round platstic "knob" to the right, like you're trying to remove it from the flange, it will pop outward and engage the tranmission for sewing heavy fabrics.

SOURCE: Brother CS-8150 Problems with bobbin thread

Double check to see if the bobbin is in upside down and the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the wrong direction.

I did this once after several years using the same machine, some days are just not as easy as they should be!

SOURCE: bobbin thread won't engage.

The bobbin case is not in the shuttle.

Raise the needle to it's highest position.

Lift the lever on the back of the bobbin case and hold it open as you insert the case into the shuttle; arm on the case pointing up. You may have to turn a bit to the left or right - it will click when in place.

SOURCE: bottom thread too loose; tried

Check for correct bottom thread tension.
It's provided by a flat spring on the bobbin holder.
When the bobbin is correctly installed, pulling on the thread
should meet with slight resistance, and the bobbin should spin without
trying to jump out of the bobbin holder.

Purchased singer 6233. Filled bobbin and thought it was installed properly, but stitching just comes out by pulling on thread.

Most likely a tension problem. Tighten the upper thread tension. If the top and bobbin threads are not interlocking, then the machine is out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

How do I change the bobbin in a Janome sewing machine?

There is a small plastic plate where the needle goes down through the foot, remove this cover and you will see the bobbin. Remove the bobbin and refill or selecting another bobbin turn it so that when you pull the thread the bobbin turns anti-clock-wise, slip the bobbin into the black plastic casing, pulling the thread towards the small red arrow at the bottom of the casing, slip the thread between break in the silver metal sleeve pulling it to your left between the 2 pieces of metal this is where the tension on the thread is. You have now changed your bobbin. With the plastic plate still off, hold the top thread with your left hand and with your right slowly turn the wheel, this will send the needle (holding your top thread) down into the bobbin casing and will pick up the bottom thread, pull on the top thread and bring the bottom thread up through the hole in the plate. Replace the plastic plate and recommence sewing. Good luck

Hi there, I just removed all the un-screwable parts in my bobbin area to remove thread. The machine handle moves now, but I can't remember how to put the case back together. I'm stumped on putting the...

I suggest that you change the knife on the undercutter. You would have to go to an Authorized Janome Dealer to aquire this part.

the bobbin case is not supposed to turn- it is the hook that the bobbin case is sitting in that is supposed to turn. Take the base of the machine off and inspect for broken gears or a broken belt.

The only thing I did that could have done this was try to use one of my singer bobbins from an earlier XL version. Would that have done it? The ones in this machine are plastic, and the ones in the older machine were metal, but they were the same size, and since I have over 50 filled bobbins from the old machine, I thought I would be able to use the thread from them, even if I couldn't refill them. If that's the case, will it just be a matter of having a service place reset the timing?

The bobbins do not have anything to do with it. Check all of the elementary things before going any further- make sure that the needle is in correctly, check the threading and if the problem persists, the only other suggestion that I have would be to take it to a qualified mechanic in your area.

Brother xl 3750 threating

take out the bobbin (thread holder) beneath the sewing area. Clean that cavity with a brush or cotton/soft cloth. Refill the bobbin with new thread and put it back in the cavity. I hope it will solve your problem.
