Magnavox DVD Recordable/VCR MWR 2046.. I do not know how to record shows off of my DVR to the Magnavox DVD Recordable. Please help

Should have avi scrat out at back of DVR place scrat lead here and the other end into avi scrat input on your DVD recordable & feed to screen as normal.
if no scrat scoket avaible you can get a converter to switch from one to other.See your local dealer.

I'm trying to copy a tv show from my DVR and the recorder keeps saying Recording Error This program is not recordable in +vr mode. What is +vr mode?
Recording mode is set wrong, change it and try again unless there is an anti-copy signal on recording which some money hungry cable companies do to screw with customers.

Laser eye probably needs to be cleaned, from over use. Simple rubbing alcohol and cotton swab will do the trick.

Yes,all DVR compatible with digital signal that included Comcast digital cable.U can't record because probally the program u tried to record it copy write protected.What did u tried to record?Just tried to record some plain show,If it is recordable than u know the deal.

I have a Magnavox MWR 20v6, I keep on getting error messages.
I figured how to get the Memorex DVD-R's working again. I went and bought a DVD lens cleaner and all the errors stopped at least for a while I hope.

Recorded dvds wont play in other dvd players
You have to finalize the disc. if the disc goes to the end it will finalize the disc automatically. If there is some part of the disc not used you have to do it yourself. IN DVD MODE PRESS SETUP, THEN DISC EDIT, THEN FINALIZE. FINALLY PRESS YES. That should do it.

How to record from TIVO to DVD in fast speed?
Nope, I think you have to sit through the entire show just like my DVR.

If you have a VHS>DVR you can put it on VHS first and then do a dup but your quality wont be quit as good.
