Hi Joyline, definitely run the machine through a cleaning cycle again using a washing machine cleaner tablet. You can find them in the laundry aisle in the grocery store. Better to clean it more often than waiting too long to do it. It will keep the machine from developing odors and mildew. Hope that helps.

Yes, you are at the point that where the wash motor needs to be replaced. There is no magic bullet to avoid doing the replacement.
If you want further guidance, please post back here. Ok?

SOURCE: Our Eco-Quest Breeze no longer works. I cleaned

I've seen several like that and found the wire connections corroded off. Easy to fix if that's the case. Make sure the unit is UNplugged before taking it apart.

SOURCE: can't make tub clean setting work

Thanks to a couple of previous responders, 6 months of frustration has now ended - I can now run the Tub Clean on my LG Steam Washer! I first want to say that it is important not to get excited and start pushing buttons randomly, as I think I had been doing for all these months when I couldn't get Tub Clean to work by pushing the button in for 3 seconds. Just do the following, which combines and expands on a couple of previous responses:

1. I had to deactivate the Spin Sense, and if your Spin Sense is ON, you will have to do this too. (It is ON if the spin speed light flashes while any of the wash cycles is in progress. If spin speed button does not flash while a wash cycle is in progress, the Spin Sense is already off.) So how to deactivate Spin Sense? Select Speed Wash, and start the cycle. Let it run for about 20 seconds and THEN push and HOLD IN in the Spin Sense option button for 3 seconds. The blinking spin speed button will stop blinking and you will then know that the Spin Sense is OFF.

2. Once Spin Sense is off: Start with your machine turned off. Then push the power button on and select the RINSE AND SPIN option button. Then START the Rinse and Spin cycle. Let it run for about 5 seconds and then PUSH IN AND HOLD THE TUB CLEAN OPTION BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS. You will then see the little LED light panel show something that looks like tcl. And you are there! Just leave it alone .... the LED will change to one hour and 25 minutes. And it will clean your machine just great.

3. Don't forget to put your bleach in the detergent cup before you start all of this.

I want to thank the two responders above who gave me the essential features for this fix. I forgot to make a note of their names before I started this response, but you can see who they are. I am so excited. Now EVERYTHING works on my LG Steam Washing Machine. I love this machine. It is a miracle of cleaning, especially since I own 4 large breed dogs and am washing and sanitizing large hairy and smelly bedding each and every day. And I no longer have to iron anything - I just use the steam cycle to unwrinkle our clothes. Best washer I have ever owned (and I have owned another major brand of large capacity front loading washer before - no comparison).

How do you use the tub clean?

Read these instructions carefully before
beginning the TUB CLEAN cycle.
1
Open the door and remove any clothing in
the wash drum.
2
Open the dispenser drawer.
3
Add liquid chlorine bleach or tub cleaner.
Some powder or tablet tub cleaners which
are manufactured for this purpose can be
used.
(NOTE : Do not add any laundry detergent
or fabric softener to the drawer when using
TUB CLEAN.)
- If using liquid chlorine bleach
Add liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach
compartment of the drawer.
(NOTE : Do not exceed the maximum
fill line and do not pour undiluted liquid
bleach directly into the wash drum.)
- If using powder cleaner
Remove the liquid detergent cup and
add powder cleaner to the main wash
compartment of the drawer.
- If using tablet cleaner
Add tablet cleaner to the wash drum
directly.
(NOTE : Do not add tablet cleaner to the
drawer.)
4
Close the drawer and washer door.
5
Select TUB CLEAN and press START.
NOTE : It is recommended that TUB CLEAN
should be repeated monthly.
If mildew or musty smell already exists, run TUB
CLEAN for 3 consecutive weeks.
After TUB CLEAN is complete or when the washer
is not used, leave the washer door open for better
ventilation and drying inside of the washer

I had a similar problem with my 9200, after looking up the fault codes, I found the f02 code can be triggered by low or insufficient water supply. After disconnecting and cleaning the inlet screens on the supply lines, have not had the problem since. Unfortunately since then, the spindle broke and destroyed the plastic tub, so we moved up to a Samsung and like it much better.

Lint left on some items washed

Either the link came from another part of the clothing, or it is in the little bit of water that is under the tub or in the drain screen and gets washed back up when water fills.
