Our LG Dryer DLG0332W is about 5 years old and now I have to manually turn the barrel around to get the dryer to start; otherwise when you hit the start button it just buzzes and doesn't start. What do you suggest?

The dryer has Defective Drum Glides/Rollers.
The dryer drum rests and spins on a set of rollers and/or drum glides. The glides and rollers provide low friction contact points that allow the drum to turn easily. When the glides and rollers become worn they can cause the drum to drag. The dryer might only spin without a load or only when assisted.
Hope this helps.

It seems to me that there is a problem with your valve assembly . I would check the connectors to the valves there should be 2 coils in there those do funny things when thy are defective.

LG DLE2512W dryer approx 3 years old error message to "check filter". Dryer has stopped working. What is the problem? Do you have a schematic of the dryer I can download?

I just had this problem with my 5 year old today. I unplugged it (after checking the line and the regular filter to make sure that they were clear). since there didn't appear to be a real problem. It works fine now. It wasn't having any problems before the light started flashing and it doesn't appear to be having any now. Hope this helps

Lg Gas dryer Dlg0332w drum making noise

The drum on my DLG0332W was also making noise at the back of the dryer...kind of a thump thump thump as the drum rotated. My dryer is only 4 years old. I got brave, downloaded the service manual and opened up the dryer. I found that the drum's welded seam was starting to separate where the roller wheels were coming into contact with the drum at the back of the dryer. Looks like a new drum is in order.

Not properly drying

If you remove the front cover hitting the reset switch is rather easy. However I did that the other day and only got 1 load done before it tripped again.

I just picked this dryer up used from a buddy the other day and am already having trouble. Also... It runs very loud. How loud is yours complared to the washer?
