SOURCE: how do i remove the chuck on a hilti dd100 core

go to Hilti.com and type in your model number for an owners manual on this tool. It looks like it has a locking mechanism that you just need to pull back. Let me know if you can't find it and I will get more specific info, or you can call them at 1-800-879-8000 and speak with tech services for this

SOURCE: hilti te92 starts up then stops after a little use

It could be the contacts on the switch are burning out. The 92 also had an electronic speed regulator that could be going out.

After you run the drill and it stops. Unplug the drill, take the handle off and apart. Feel the screws on the switch were the wires are connected. If one of them is hot to the touch that usually means the contacts are burning up.

SOURCE: te70 hilti hammer drill

The TE-70 is permantly lubricated. You would only add lubricant if you took the tool apart. You can add a small amount of grease to the end of your bit occasionally before putting in the chuck. This keeps the chuck parts lubed.

Transmission plug

get a tool called an "easyout" this will include a drill dit and various size threaded cores that are screwed into the hole you've drilled into the plug/bolt etc , the trick is these cores have a left hand thread so turn anti-clockwise to screw in tight, as they are tapered , once tight unscrew clockwise and out comes the offending bolt/plug etc , these tools are available online and are very cheap considering the money they save you on this type of stuff

I have a dd200 hilti core drilling machine, just yesterday the 152 mm core bit is jammed and i cant move, i can not take out the core bit, i know that the iron bar small pc. is blocking the bit but i do...

If you have not done it already put the motor in the 1st gear. this will give you the most torque. Try that while pouring a lot of water to it.

Worse case is you disconnect the bit from the rig. Drill a hole on each side of the barrel at the end that connects to the motor big enough to stick a big piece of rod or rebar through. With two people twisting on the rod you usually can get the bit out.

Hope this helps

How do i replace the jacob chuck on a hilti hammer drill?

Open the jaws of the chuck all the way open. Inside the chuck you will see a slotted screw. Use a large flat head screw driver and remove screw. It will have left handed threads.

After you remove the screw put the end of the chuck in a vise where the 6 flats sides are. Put the drill in low gear and reverse. Hold tight and turn on the drill. This should run the chuck right off the spindle.

The chuck on my old Hilti TE 60 is stripped.

Are you talking about the cap nut that threads onto the chuck? It is very rare that it would strip out. Word of warning if you do find one and thread it back on. You need to have a chisel in the chuck and have the chisel end locked in a vise. This protects from breaking the gear housing on the inside where the shift dog rides up and down.

Those parts are no longer available but you can still find some used on Ebay. Also the TE-72 used the same chuck parts.

Will a Hilti TE 17 to drill 1" holes in sandstone?

The TE 17 is at least 29 years old. It will do up to an inch. However there are no parts available for this tool. Also be carefull if it has a black fill cap on top of the gear housing then it does not have a safety clutch. If it has a red one then it does have a clutch.
