I need help turning my volume up on my Alcatel phone

If your incoming calls are going to messages and the volume is lower than usual, it could be due to a problem with the phone settings. Try checking the volume settings on the phone, and make sure the volume is not turned down too low. Additionally, you may need to check the settings for your phone's voicemail, and make sure that your voicemail is not set to kick in after a certain amount of time. It seems a known issue. You could use the speaker or use a Bluetooth earpiece.

Did you increase the Volume whilst ON a call? Otherwise you are just turning up the ringer volume.

When you're on a call push the volume up button. When you're not on a call the same button only increases the ringer volume.

Steps to adjust the ringtone volume for calls and text on your Alcatel OneTouch:

1. Press the Center key.
2. Scroll to Settings and press the Center key.
3. Scroll to Volume and press the Center key.
4. With Incoming Ringer Volume highlighted, press the Center key.
5. Scroll up or down the preferred volume level.

Do you have the ringer volume turned all the way down which is to say you hear no ring, check that first, if the ringer volume is turned up then the phone is defective and needs to be repaired or replaced depending on cost.

In order to use your phone again, you will need to enter the email (Gmail) and password while connected to the internet via WiFi or data connection. If not, you will have to do a Factory Reset. Do the following to do a Factory Reset:

• turn off the phone

• press the following simultaneously:

Volume up
Power button

• you will now be on recovery mode

(use volume buttons to navigate and power to choose)

• choose wipe data/Factory Reset

• choose yes--delete all user data

• choose reboot system now

Menu> setting> sounds> volume. Or something similar. Yours is in the settings menu

There are the physical buttons for volume up/down and then in settings the are the volume settings.... i suggest you to download volume control from google play it's free and will help you!

Under settings, the gear wheel looking button.
Select sound, then select volumes.
"Touch to set volume for Media, Ringtone, Notifications
and Alarm."
It should be ringtone volume.
