The voice cancellor switch basically subtracts the left and right signal because the vocalist is usually centered... The noise would likely be in an op amp associated with this feature...
Compare your circuit to a PMH1000. On that unit first thing to check is the two electrolytic caps at the left and right noise cancellor outputs.
There are a wholle bunch of resistors and IC's 48,50,37 are all involved.
Troubleshoot this one with freeze mist (ccircuit cooler). The problem should show up easily by heating and cooling.

There is a possible noise build up on your CH2 due to failure or weakness of the LCR network of the preamp circuit. It could also be a noise within any semiconducctor or the preamp IC. Unless you can do a signal test with the elimination of the input to the output amplifier, the fault will not be say to isolate. Hence if youarre familiar do the test by approching from the output amplifier's input, proceeding to the main input where the faulty section can be identified. Hope this helps. Good day
