John Deere Backhoe loader Mod. 210C. Can I replace EATON- Vickers Van Pump instead to Double stage Gear pump SAUER or VICKERS?

Replacing hydraulic components in heavy equipment like the John Deere Backhoe Loader Model 210C requires careful consideration, as it can impact the machine's performance, safety, and warranty. Here are some important factors to keep in mind when considering a pump replacement:
1. **Compatibility:** Hydraulic pumps are designed for specific systems and applications. The replacement pump must have compatible specifications, flow rates, pressures, and connections to work effectively within your machine's hydraulic system.
2. **System Design:** The hydraulic system of your backhoe loader is designed with specific components that work together. Replacing a pump can potentially disrupt the balance and efficiency of the system.
3. **Flow and Pressure Requirements:** Ensure that the replacement pump can provide the required flow and pressure needed by both the main and steering hydraulic systems. Mismatched flow rates and pressures can lead to performance issues and damage.
4. **Relief Valve and Safety:** Hydraulic systems include relief valves to prevent overpressure. If you're considering a pump replacement, you must ensure that the relief valve settings are appropriate for the new pump's specifications.
5. **Mounting and Connections:** The new pump should have compatible mounting and connection points with your backhoe loader's existing hydraulic system. Modifications might be needed to ensure a proper fit.
6. **Manufacturer Recommendations:** Consult the manufacturer's documentation, technical manuals, and guidelines for pump replacements. They may provide insights into compatible replacements and installation procedures.
7. **Professional Assistance:** Given the complexity of hydraulic systems and the potential impact of pump replacements, it's advisable to consult with a qualified hydraulic engineer or technician. They can assess your specific situation, recommend suitable replacement options, and ensure proper installation.
8. **Warranty and Support:** Keep in mind that modifications or replacements not recommended by the manufacturer could void warranties and complicate maintenance and support in the future.
9. **Testing and Calibration:** After any pump replacement, thorough testing and calibration are essential to ensure the hydraulic system operates safely and efficiently.
Remember that modifying heavy equipment like a backhoe loader requires expertise and knowledge in hydraulic systems. Any modifications should be carried out by professionals who are experienced in working with such equipment. It's recommended to involve the manufacturer or authorized service providers to ensure that any modifications are done correctly and safely.

Have a 1989 2090 Case tractor, the hydraulic pump quit and am trying change the gears in it. How do you change out the beveled gears in the pump?

Replacing the beveled gears in the hydraulic pump of a 1989 2090 Case tractor can be a complex task, and it is recommended that you consult the service manual for your specific tractor model before attempting the repair. However, here is a general guide on how to change out the beveled gears in the pump:
  1. Begin by draining the hydraulic oil from the pump and removing the pump from the tractor. This will likely involve disconnecting hoses, fittings, and any other attachments that are holding the pump in place.
  2. Once the pump is removed, you will need to disassemble it. This will involve removing the bolts and covers that are holding the pump together.
  3. Once the pump is disassembled, you will have access to the beveled gears. Carefully remove the old gears, being sure to note their orientation and position.
  4. Clean all parts thoroughly, including the gear housing, gears, and any other components.
  5. Install the new beveled gears, making sure that they are properly oriented and seated in their proper position.
  6. Reassemble the pump, making sure that all components are properly aligned and tightened.
  7. Reinstall the pump onto the tractor, reattaching all hoses, fittings, and other attachments.
  8. Refill the hydraulic system with the appropriate oil and test the pump to ensure that it is working properly.
Again, this is a general guide, and the specific steps involved in replacing the beveled gears in the hydraulic pump of a 1989 2090 Case tractor may vary depending on the specific model and condition of the pump. It is recommended that you consult the service manual for your tractor and/or seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic if you are unsure about any aspect of this repair.

Power steering went out on my 2012 ford focus

Power steering assistance is generated by the power steering pump. This is accomplished by pressurizing hydraulic fluid and applying it to the steering gear; any failure that compromises this process can result in increased steering effort (a stiff steering wheel). The first item to check is the serpentine belt; if inadequate belt tension is present or the belt is missing, the power steering pump pulley will not be rotated fast enough to allow the pump to work. The second item to check is the power steering fluid reservoir; if the fluid level is too low (caused by a leak), air will be introduced into the hydraulic circuit and the hydraulic fluid will not be properly pressurized. This may also result in aerated fluid which appears foamy in consistency. The last item to check is the fluid condition itself; if shining a flashlight on the fluid reveals a glitter-like appearance, chances are that the internal parts of the pump are worn and are not longer capable of generating pressure. In this case the power steering pump would need to be replaced along with a whole system flush. In some severe cases with excessive debris, other components within the steering system may need to be replaced as well. Hydraulic clutch is not disengaging, when put into 1st gear the engine conks out. Replaced the master cylinder and bled the line - still conks out. Do I need too replace the slave cylinder or what?

as per your description problem not clutch since able to start in gear and drive without stall problem sounds more like a fuel delivery not the clutch

Solution to Manual transmission Problem shifting. Any ideas ?

See if your hydraulic clutch needs fluid added or if it needs bleeding-if it went dry you need to bleed the system down at the slave cylinder on the bell housing.
If the hydraulics are working good, your clutch disc may be worn too bad to still work. If that is the case, you will need a new clutch disc, new pressure plate, and new clutch release bearing.

1979 case 2090 does not move , no hydraulics, no steering nothing

Yeh I think your on the right track with the hydraulic pump, if it's power shift as well it stands to reason that the pump has failed, you can fit a guage to the coupling on the rear of the tractor and it will tell you if the hydraulics are working to pressure, hope this helps

Bleed hydraulic clutch

If that is the case you must replace the leaking part.

I have a Toyota Corolla AE 100 manual gear shift gets stuck

why my 2006 corolla car gearbox is stuck in third gear and cannot move

My car is stuck is stuck in idol it wont go in to gear it just grinds

I an assuming that since it grinds that this is a standard shift transmission. If so, your slave or master cylinder for your clutch has either failed or leaked out, or both. Try adding some brake fluid to your Clutch master cylinder and pump vigorously to purge any bubbles. If you can engage your transmission after this, you will need to have the hydraulic clutch system bled. Until that time you will need to pump several times between gear changes to use the vehicle.

I have a Danfoss319602A pump for a Case 1845C skidsteer. It needs to be replaced with an updated pump and coupling. Do you have any new #s . thanks Rolf

The 1845C's had a sauer-danfoss m91-46507 or m91-46509 (tandem) for track drive. These units are still readily available. Reman/exchange units are the way to go. You can usually get better delivery and pricing for a hydraulic shop that knows what they are doing then thru case. I can help if needed. [email protected]
