You can call sim service provider by othe number just you as your sim company and tell them you locked your sim. But you dont know the puk number to revive. They will tell you description in short and than you can unlock your sim. Thank you.

If you still have the card that the SIM came with, it'll have the PUK printed on it. Otherwise, you'll have to get it from your carrier. If you have an online account with them (e.g. "My Vodafone"), it'll be there. You may to have to call their support number if there's no online option.

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.

You don't need your sim cert or other documents, if you can at least remember the owners name (i hope so), call the customer care and tell them your problem, they'll give you the number to unlock your puk issue. Please don't enter any random numbers/codes before you call them up, it'll only damage sim card and will no longer be usable.

Hello,

If your phone is requesting a PUK code, it is the sim card that is locked and requires the PUK code to unlock it. If you insert another sim in the phone, it will work perfectly fine.

The PUK code means personal unblocking key. It is mostly found on the sim pack, on the sim pack you will see a couple of numbers on the card, there you will see a 8 digit code, that is the puk code.

You can also contact the help center of the sim card you are using for the puk code, they will give it to you.

Take note: puk code request is not for the phone but the sim inserted into the phone.

Hi,

If you need the PUK ( Personal Unblocking Key ) for your phone, you will have to contact your mobile phone service provider.

PUK code is related to the SIM card you are using. So, kindly call the IDEA Customer care number from another IDEA mobile and they will provide you with the PUK code.

Also, entering a wrong PUK code ten times in a row disables the SIM card permanently. So, please be careful while entering the PUK code.

Hi,your sim card is locked and the only code that can unlock your sim card is the puk(personal unlocking key) code which is generated by your service provider for your sim card alone.

Your PUK code can only be obtained from your service provider,so this is the solution,

Contact your service provider customer care and request for your PUK code with proof of ownership of your sim card.

The PUK code will be giving to you for free.

You can also obtain your PUK code from your sim card certificate that comes with your sim pack when purchased,that is if you still have it with you,

Puk lock
Puk lock are from Sim cards not phone...

To unlock your Puk lock, first get your Sim park where you cut out the Sim card from.

Check on the Sim park you will see where they number on it..

when you turn on your phone and it request for Puk number, type in the Puk on your Sim park..

It will ask for a your Pin number. type in your Pin and it will request that you re-type your pin.

After typing it again, you can make use of your Sim card again.take care.

I need my puk number
PUK lock is for the SIM card itself its not tied up on the phone. So just contact the SIM card network provider and ask for its PUK unlock code if they support it.

And don't try to use the PUK lock SIM and enter incorrect code for it will permanently lock for good. Usually three try only.

A PUK code is a security feature on your sim card that, where you can choose to have your sim request a PIN code when your phone is switched on. If this code is entered incorrectly three times, your sim card will lock itself, and this can only be unlocked using your PUK code. As your sim card is controlled by your network, it is your network who have this code- you will need to contact them and request this .

However , the initial security code default is '0000'. You can change the initial password in accordance with the user manual included in the product kit.

PHONE LOCK
You should have a PUK number, on the plastic card where your sim card was. Enter 2-3 more pin numbers and your phone will lock itself and request the PUK number... tap it in and hey! presto.

PUK number is available from your service provider.

If you mean unlock sim, to make your phone work on any network. Most shops will do it for you for a couple of £s.
