There is a software on the market called Acronis True image, this software will help you make a complete ghost of your existing installation and put that ghost/image onto another harddrive, this can then be copied back to your original harddrive should you have a problem like a virus or Windows update problem.

You will obviously need to purchase it if you need to make the recovery after the 15 days.
Another way of doing it is to buy an Apricorn external harddrive housing, this housing doesn't come with a harddrive you choose your own to go in it, but, it comes with EZgig which is essentially Acronis True Image in disguise.
The idea of the Apricorn housings was to upgrade your existing laptop harddrive but now I use them as just ordinary external harddrives.

Apricorn make many different enclosures, this one is just small enough to fit in your laptop case and only requires USB to make it work, you can use an external power supply with it as obviously with no external power it will run your laptop battery down quite quickly.

Why not use the FREE clone that has all that MS does and more. It reads writes looks like MSoffice, can be used on multiple computers does not expire in 30 days and is just so easy to use. go to OpenOffice org and download it absolutely free of charge. If you do some research around the site you can find heaps of temjplates and clipart submitted by others who contribute to this project. Why support MS they are only interested in the money, not making a good piece of software bug free. Some companies employ Beta Users, microsoft uses you and charges you for the priveledge of finding their bugs!
