Hi faye smith, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

Unable to determine the model and vendor of the Mishto 3000W power inverter. Could it be this one:

Without knowing the exact model, there are several brands of power inverters that have online manuals, but some web sites I saw are malicious and you need to be careful in downloading from untrustworthy web sites.

Is it possible to repair my Cobra 1500w to 3000w peak power inverter?

As the Cobra 1500w inverter is constructed analogous to a high-frequency "switching" power supply, it is not recommended to modify it to exceed original specifications. For any inverter intended for applications exceeding 2000W transient peak, it is highly recommended to use a low-frequency "true-sine" inverter. Your Cobra inverter is designed for low-deman applications, and is insufficient for high-demand applications.

I have a 1000w eliminator inverter and its only putting out 100w. what do you think?

Hi....if you should be needing a 3000W inverter. No way you should use a 3000 watt inverter. Using an oversized inverter will needlessly draw power from the battery. Be aware that 100 watts of power used is 1 amp of battery power used. You have not said what size battery you have but most likely I am going to guess either a group 24 or 27, which means you only have 40-45 amps of battery power that you can use before you start damaging your battery.

I have 3000 w inverter now when I turn on its saying olb and fans on back side one

Make & Model? A troubleshooting Hint: Remove & unplug everything from the AC outlet(s), still have the OLP error code? Note: Some 3000W Inverters have two inverter circuits operating in parallel, if one circuit blows its internal fuses maybe its only work on one circuit ? Usually there are a number of 25A car fuse (Qty 8) in parallel for each inverter circuit.

Unless it was overloaded momentarily there should be no reason for the fuses to blow under normal working conditions. That means highly likely they may have blown due to circuit fault.

Eliminator 3000W no 120 V power. Blinks 13.6v/0 Is there any out fuse? Overheat breaker?

this is NOT a dryer,it is an inverter, yes there is a fuse, there also is a reset on the gcfi outlet, you may have burned it out,by running a motor with it,start up on a motor can be more than 3000w,depending on the motor or inverter, the inverter was not made to run motors, read your owners manual for more info. there also could be a problem with your battery connection, check that and make sure that the inverter is getting 13.6 volts, that is why the light flashes,it isnt getting enough power

Inverter Error err flashing

Not sure about this unit - but I can tell you how I fixed 2 of my own Xantrex inverters.

I took them apart and found that they had replaceable fuses - 400w inverter had 1 fuse and the 3000w had 12 which were blown. Replaced and all worked fine afterwards.

Hope this helps a little and good luck.

Mishto plasma cutter won't work

You need to check the power supply, the air pressure switch.

Same inverter, running low power items. Fans do not operate.

Some inverters don't like being turned on without a load pluged in to it. Try plugging in and turning on an appliance (eg a soldering iron) before connecting the inverter to the battery. If you still get a fault it may be an internal fuse or electronic problem. In this case you'll need to get it repaired.

Inverters / Microwaves

A pure sine wave inverter will usually allow a microwave to run quieter and cooler and more efficiently all around.

So the oven has 850 watts of cooking power?

That would mean its power consumption could be as high as 1700W while cooking, but it could surge or spike higher when it first turns on due to the inductive load it offers.

I would think a 3000W inverter should handle that, but that also depends on its peak surge wattage.

As long as the microwave works properly in a normal wall outlet, I'd say maybe it's too much for this inverter and I'd check back with the dealer on this for his input.

Bottom line: Make sure the oven works well in a wall outlet, and check your inverter's peak surge rating.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
