SOURCE: Crosley Front Load Washers FL Error
Flood Condition F L “FL” flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in
the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an
overfill condition instead of a suds lock condition in order for “FL” to be displayed.
With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time out.
The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch
resets or power is discontinued to the unit.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

It is possible that instead of 5d that you have a SD. The SD error is usually form an excess of suds in the washer. In most cases you can run the machine through a couple rinse cycles and clear that right up. If that does not work then you will need to clean out the drain and your pump filter. The filer is located behind the bottom panel and you just unscrew it from the pump. If infact you had a 5D error then I am sorry for misinforming you, I have just never heard of a 5 D and I have been services them for years. I really hope this helped you, good luck.
SOURCE: kenmore front load HE 4T error code 2F what does this mean?
Its been my experience this is related to the drain pump being plugged.
First, you need to take out as much water as you can. Empty the washer and then select drain with NO spin. It may help to drain water.
Second step, unplug your machine, and unscrew the front-bottom panel
(there are three screws on the bottom, you need to go to the floor)
Third, there is a plastic cover for the draining pump. WARNING - There is still, water inside, so have plenty of towels handy!
Unscrew the plastic cover and there is a good chance you'll find the clog.

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.
SOURCE: WHAT DOES F01 ERROR CODE MEAN AND HOW DO YOU FIX
F01 - There may be an internal problem with the control, attempt a Hard Reset.
Hard Reset - In some cases the control can be non-functioning or may not accept activation from the control panel. To clear and restart the control follow the these steps:
* Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
* Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the "PF" in the display.
* Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts.
The F01 generally indicates a failed electronic machine control board.
This error code can sometimes be caused by a glitch or power surge through the electrical lines.
You may be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for 5 minutes.
If the code returns after plugging the washer back in, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced.
The procedure for accessing and replacing this control board is shown in this image...

Be sure to unplug the washer before accessing internal components.
When you access the control board, I recommend transferring the wires from the old control board to the new replacement control board one connection at a time.
Once you have all of the wires transferred, remove the old control board and mount the new control board in the washer.
Reassemble and test the washer.
The "F01" error code indicates a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU.
The "F01" can also be displayed if the onboard "Pump Driver" fails to activate.
Generally in order to correct this failure will require replacing the CCU.
There is no way to test and verify if the control board has failed.
The technical data sheet basically states to replace the CCU.

Hello protocolu898 - Do you want to know how to display an error code on the washer? Or do you have an error code do you need assistance with?
Hi - Are you certain the error code is L7? This manufacturer does not have any L7 error codes for any washer or other units. I understand that it will not spin either; does the unit make a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned, or you have another issue with the door lock assembly or the timer and control board not communicating correctly.
