If it is battery operated (batteries are in the console) change them first.
If that isn't the problem, you need to open up the bike and check the servo motor operation and the eddy mechanism.
Many of the Icon bikes have lifetime warranty on the eddy mech. Check your manual for warranty coverage.

Freemotion f5.6 Elliptical Strider display buttons not working/responding.

If one of the buttons is stuck, none of the buttons will work.
Try using a hair dryer to free the stuck button. the heat (use low) will cause the button to expand and might free the button.
Otherwise, the consoles are not repairable, and are a straight replacement item. Call Icon Fitness for parts pricing.

I have a FreeMotion 330R recumbent bike. The resistance suddenly quit working. It is extremely difficult to pedal. I tried to change the resistance but it doesn't change. What can I do to fix it?

Hi Dan,

I know it's been a while, but any chance you found the issue and fix? I have the exact same model and same symptoms you mentioned.

thanks

I have a bike that there is no resistance when paddling.

if this is a stationary bike, look on the wheel for a hand operated knob that has a roller on the tire itself.. this is a tensioner..it will need tightened up..the tighter you go the more resistance you get.the new ones use electronic braking system..dont now how it adjusts except by the control module..

How do I adjust the tension. Even at zero resistance it is too difficult

Hi Doug,
You may have a problem with the resistance motor. The covers will have to be taken off to fix.
Usually when you increase or decrease the resistance you will hear the motor working. Do you hear it ?
