SOURCE: wipers stopped working
Sounds like wiper motor tied up. unhook electrical plug to motor and turn on wiper switch and see if it blows the fuse, if it dosent than its most likely wiper motor thats bad, if it blows fuse with it unhooked than it could be the switch.
Did you replace the bulb with one of the same voltage rating?
Seems strange that a new bulb should blow straight away, maybe it was faulty.
This sounds like a blown fuse.
brian_au no 1 solution is wrong.. globe is under a spring clip cover . remove cover, then unplug, then release retaining spring behind the globe. replacement is just process reversal
